If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on California Dream Week, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. E. Fokker (talk) 19:52, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy tags

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Hairhorn (talk) 20:32, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

January 2011

[edit]

This is your last warning; the next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at California Dream Week, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. My76Strat 20:33, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article California Dream Week has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable event. The only provided references are press releases issued by the organizers.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Conflict of interest

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article California Dream Week, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 22:56, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

I see you had the Help me template on your page. Do you have a question?--intelatitalk 23:05, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A non notable event could be put up for articles for deletion, where the article is disscussed for seven days and then an administrator will decide whether to delete the page for not. Can you link the page?
Also, Please sign your posts with ~~~~. Thanks.--intelatitalk 23:18, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your helpme request

[edit]

Hi Ludmila cdw. New threads on Wikipedia go at the bottom of the page just as responses to a post go underneath it. You posted the helpme template but you did not post a question so there's nothing to answer. If you have a question below here, repost the helpme template and write your question underneath that and then save.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 23:17, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Californiadreamweek logo.png. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.
