FSAstore.com Deletion

[edit]

I viewed those pages and saw how originally it was viewed as promotional. I tried to recreate it about the history which I don't believe it is promotional at all. I found the page for drugstore.com and used that as the basis of my creation. Can you please explain how they are different?

  • The page on FSAstore.com was deleted by community consensus in January 2013 after this discussion. As you will see from that discussion, the main concern was not about promotional content but rather whether the firm met the relevant notability criteria. • Who decides what is "significant coverage in reliable, third-party sources"? If you have a Flexible Spending Account you know FSAstore.com. I was looking for their Wikipedia page and they didnt have one. I originally found out about them through a new york times article in 2011 (http://bucks.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/10/31/some-help-getting-reimbursed-for-otc-drugs/) and if you view their website they have tons of articles in what most people in the US would call reputable publications; CNNMoney, Kiplinger, San Fransico Chronicle, Miami Herald, US News, LA Times, Newsday, MarketWatch to name a few. Just because you search something in google news and 1000s of articles come up doesnt mean the company is irrelevant. Also, just because FSAs are only something that is used in the US doesnt make them irrelevant either. I expected more from the "volunteers" at wikipedia. The fact that there is a demand for the article should be enough.

  • A response would be much appreciated

A tag has been placed on FSAstore.com, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
