Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 09:52, 6 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

:Respected Sir / Madam
I created this article with the intention of providing valuable information and knowledge about an educational institution located in a rural area of Kerala. My purpose was solely to contribute to Wikipedia and not to receive any compensation for my efforts. After reviewing the reasons for my block, I now understand the guidelines and policies that were not followed in my previous article. I have already submitted a request to change my Wikipedia username as it violates wikipedia policies. I acknowledge that my exisitng username goes against Wikipedia's guidelines, which prohibit usernames that imply the representation of a business, organization, group, or website. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused.
Moving forward, I am committed to editing my article to adhere strictly to Wikipedia's policies, including the guidelines on notability, verifiability, and neutrality. I will ensure that the information presented is well-researched and supported by reliable sources. Additionally, I will strive to maintain a neutral tone throughout the article and avoid any promotional language or bias.
I value the collaborative nature of Wikipedia and appreciate the feedback provided by the community of editors. I am open to constructive criticism and will actively engage in discussions to improve the quality and accuracy of my article. My goal is to contribute positively to Wikipedia and create a comprehensive, informative, and neutral article that showcases the educational landscape in the rural area of Kerala.
I apologize for any previous oversight, and I assure the Wikipedia community that I will be diligent in adhering to the platform's policies moving forward. Thank you for the opportunity to learn and improve my contributions to Wikipedia.
Yours Sincerely,
Jesbira M Mamoclibrary (talk) 08:18, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I do not see where you requested a new username. As 331dot says, it looks like you used AI to help write your unblock request. I suggest you post another unblock request in your own words, and include a proposed username this time. PhilKnight (talk) 10:05, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed the formatting of your request(the Reply function is not designed to accomodate unblock requests well) and placed your initial statement within it as it should be. However, it appears that you wrote it with an AI. We want to hear from you, not an AI, as you are the one that is blocked. I would suggest that you rewrite your request in your own words without the aid of an AI. Someone else will review your request. 331dot (talk) 08:32, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

No one will see this unless you remove the "nowiki" tags that surround your unblock request. You also will need to address your inappropriate edits and tell us what edits you intend to make instead. 331dot (talk) 09:51, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Respected Sir,
My intention in writing this Wikipedia article is to share information that I know about a college situated in a rural area of Kerala and to provide the community with knowledge about its activities and social involvement. I also would like to show how an educational institution can be involved in the uplifting of a community around it and can respond to various social problems. It's not for advertisement or any promotional purposes. Moreover, I am not doing this for any compensation from anyone. My sole intention is to contribute to Wikipedia's knowledge base and to show the role which a higher education institution can play in a minority community for its overall improvement. As the Wikipedia is reliable and easy-to-access information source freely available even to a common man, I think it's a better platform, to give the community information regarding the roles played by the college in a rural and underdeveloped community.
As my user name is against Wikipedia policy, I have already requested to change it to 'Jesbira'. If you unblock me, I will restructure my article in such a way that it completely adheres to Wikipedia policy.
Yours Sincerely,
Jesbira M Mamoclibrary (talk) 09:59, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Again, no one will see this unless you remove the "nowiki" tags that surround your request(you may need to open the edit window directly to do that). "I also would like to show how an educational institution can be involved in the uplifting of a community around it and can respond to various social problems" is a promotional purpose. Wikipedia articles merely summarize what independent reliable sources say about a topic- they don't exist to tell of the good work a topic does. 331dot (talk) 10:05, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You will not be unblocked to tell about Muhammed Abdurahiman Memorial Orphanage College due to the promotional nature of your edits. Or about any subject with which you are connected. Please describe what constructive, non promotional edits you would make. That you cannot see that you are writing in a promotional manner is troubling but unsurprising. It is unlikely that you will be able to write about Muhammed Abdurahiman Memorial Orphanage College non promotionally at first. "Experience has unfortunately shown that most (but not all) people with experience in PR cannot be taught to write a proper article, because they are so completely oriented to writing advertisements or quasi-advertisements that they honestly cannot see the difference between that and a proper encyclopedia article." -- User:DGG. You will need therefore to describe what constructive edits you would make to help build the wonder of the world that is Wikipedia. What 331dot said above. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 05:33, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Muhammed Abdurahiman Memorial Orphanage College, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 05:35, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
