Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Maquirri91, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Wizards of Waverly Place have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

There is a page about the verifiability policy that explains the policy in greater detail, and another that offers tips on the proper ways of citing sources. If you are stuck and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  NrDg 16:33, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WoWP DVD

[edit]

You found a good reference to support the DVD. You added more detail than was supported by the reference though. Amazon didn't state what 4 episodes they would include on the DVD. --NrDg 23:24, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, in re reading the Amazon description, they did describe the 4 episodes so titles can be figured out. All the DVD entry requires is just the names of the 4 episodes with a link to the list of episodes page for the description. Not necessary to put the description in the table. --NrDg 23:28, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Zoey 101 Season 2 DVD

[edit]

Any source that proves that Season 2 will be released on DVD in September? Because as far as I'm concerned, there are no plans, as of now, to release any future seasons. --Xraffle (talk) 20:00, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Scrubs episodes

[edit]

Only studio or network sites are considered as valid sources for episode announcements. Please refrain from using any other sources. Also, you are on the verge of breaking three-revert rule on the article. LeaveSleaves (talk) 18:15, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

TVcountdown

[edit]

I have reverted your edit to the Smallville page that used TVcountdown.com as a source. They are not considered a reliable source (they most likely got their information from Kryptonsite). Upon investigating the site, there does not appear to be anything indicating any time of professional reporting status, or editorial oversight. From the looks, it's just a webpage monitored by one person.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 23:48, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neither is TV.com, which gets their information from users, who get their information from Kryptonsite. The reason that the other titles are not listed is because the CW has not officiall released that information yet. Places like TV Guide and MSN only list titles when the CW releases their official descriptions, because everything is subject to change before then (well, even after that, but much more likely before then).  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 15:54, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

J.O.N.A.S!

[edit]

Your attempt to created a new version of this article did not answer the concerns in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/J.O.N.A.S!, so I have restored the redirect. Specifically, you cannot use IMDB, blogs, or forums as sources. If you can find sources that meet WP:RS, then the article may be able to be restored. If you find these sources and need help recovering the text for the article you wrote, let me know, and I will recover the text for you.Kww (talk) 14:24, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Secret Life of the American Teenager

[edit]

Hello! I hope you are enjoying working on the Wiki! I noticed you are contributing to the List of The Secret Life of the American Teenager episodes. Some of the recent revisions aren't making sense to me. If you are interested, I am trying to start a discussion about some of these changes on the article's talkpage; I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks! Proposed deletion of Lo Mejor de Mí (Jadiel album)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lo Mejor de Mí (Jadiel album), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Mdsummermsw (talk) 12:34, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Lo Mejor de Mí (Jadiel album), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

A9 (An article about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant and where the artist's article has never existed or has been deleted.)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SummerPhD (talk) 18:01, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

List of Wizards of Waverly Place episodes

[edit]

The references you are using to justify future episodes don't meet the requirements of WP:RS. Blogs and user driven information sites have no editorial control so can't be used. Casting sites give planning information which can change between casting and final production. Please stick with reliable sources such as TV Guide. --NrDg 02:24, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also see Wikipedia:El#Sites_requiring_registration. Don't expect people to pay a fee to verify the reference - I won't and I do verify references. I specifically look for copy and paste copyright violations and inaccuracies which I can't do if I can't see the source. The major problem with showfax.com (and also TVrage) specifically is that it is tentative information used for casting parts. Shows are not broadcast in production order. Scripts change even as a show is being shot. There have been many cases where the actual broadcast show titles didn't match the planned ones. Show scheduling is not set beyond a month out and any listed dates are estimates. The only information that is freely available at showfax is the tentative episode title. We need better information than that. --NrDg 03:42, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to List of Hannah Montana episodes (Season 3). Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. NrDg 20:33, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As stated above don't include sources that are blogs or consist of user entered data and sources with preproduction planning particularly if you have to pay to use them. Your continuing to add information from these sources after being notified that they are not usable sources is disruptive editing --NrDg 20:44, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. toonzone, showfax, sharetv are not reliable sources of what is going to air. We discussed this before, nothing has changed since then. Toonzone and sharetv are fan sites with content from anonymous contributors. Showfax is a paid casting site with only planning info, not completion info. NrDg 23:14, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to List of iCarly episodes. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. As noted above, showfax is not considered a reliable source for the purposes of listing future episodes. Often, episodes that are planned for production are changed or canceled, and sometimes episodes that are produced end up not being aired by the network. 青い(Aoi) (talk) 23:21, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Citing sources

[edit]

I've noticed that when adding citations, such as you did here and here to List of Hannah Montana episodes (Season 3), you usually create duplicate, identical references. This tends to create clutter in the list of references. To avoid this, you can give each reference a name and use just the name, rather than the full reference. For example, rather than duplicating <ref>http://tv.msn.com/tv/series-episodes/hannah-montana/</ref>, you would write <ref name=msn>http://tv.msn.com/tv/series-episodes/hannah-montana/</ref> for the first usage and the next time you wish to use that reference you simply write <ref name=msn/>. References can be used many times, with only one entry per use, as in the first two references at List of The Suite Life on Deck episodes. More information on this may be found at Wikipedia:Citing sources. There are a number of citation templates available, such as {{Cite web}}, that make it easy to provide full referencing. Full referencing becomes valuable if and when a reference becomes dead, as well as providing more information about the referencing, including how current the reference is. --AussieLegend (talk) 16:04, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of The Fairly OddParents DVD and VHS. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of The Fairly OddParents DVD and VHS. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
