Hello, Marcus Truman, local clown! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. You may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking or by typing four tildes "~~~~"; this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you are already excited about Wikipedia, you might want to consider being "adopted" by a more experienced editor or joining a WikiProject to collaborate with others in creating and improving articles of your interest. Click here for a directory of all the WikiProjects. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field when making edits to pages. Happy editing! Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Airbnb has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Using "Fixed typo" is problematic, because that is not what you did. You removed an expression of doubt, which is an editorial edit in accord with our Manual of Style. A more appropriate edit summary would have been Removing an expression of doubt, as per MOS:ALLEGED.Peaceray (talk) 16:47, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, sorry about that one. I did that edit on mobile, and on mobile I haven't been able to find an edit summary other than one of these four buttons you can pick. I do proper summaries on computers, but mobile just ain't happy about it. I did the edit because the Wikipedia page on the Uyghur genocide is completely unambiguous as to its reality, and calling the human rights abuses "alleged" is just factually incorrect. If you know more about editing on mobile (using the Wikipedia Beta app) and how to put in a proper summary, I'd be glad to hear it. Cheers! Oh! I do not use the mobile app to edit. In fact, if I edit on my smart phone, which is fairly large, I use the desktop version. But I also use some welcoming & anti-vandalism tools such as WP:Twinkle & WP:RedWarn that are easy from a phone.
