Election result templates[edit]

Hello Matapay. Please don't create standalone templates for election results. Rather than use a template, you can call the results from the election article using the code (e.g.) {{#section-h:2019 Faroese general election|Results}} which will reproduce everything in the results section of that article. If there is text or other tables you do not wish to be transcuded on the other page, you can add the <onlyinclude> tags around the table like this.

We try to avoid having standalone results templates as they are prone to vandalism as very few editors have them on their watchlist. Also, with the functionality mentioned above, they no longer serve any purpose. Cheers, Number 5 7 21:10, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
