TV article for The Signpost

Hi! If you need input on television articles on Wikipedia, I can help. If you need a contribution resume from me, just look at my page. There are series, episode lists, episode titles and biographies linked there that I have created. Just let me know by replying here. — Wyliepedia 19:53, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi CAWylie! I would definitely be interested in writing about your contributions. Can I shoot you an email? Megalibrarygirl (talk) 22:22, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
Of course! I look forward to hearing from you! — Wyliepedia 22:33, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
Oops! I can't email you, CAWylie. If you'd like, we can either do this through talk pages, or (preferably) you can email me first using the "Email this user" tab and I'll email you back. Sorry for the trouble! Megalibrarygirl (talk) 22:42, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
Sorry. I'm email-enabled now! — Wyliepedia 22:58, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

Digital Anthropology research

Hello Megalibrarygirl, My name is Stephanie Barker and I am a student at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am currently enrolled in a Digital Anthropology class, which attempts to answer how the digital world affects culture and how culture affects the digital world. For my final project I am doing an ethnography on women Wikipedia users and as a member of the WikiProject Women page I was hoping I could ask you some questions about your experiences editing Wikipedia pages. 1. Have you ever been locked into an intense editing war? If yes, please explain the situation to me. 2. How did you become interested in editing Wikipedia pages and did you have any initial fears/hesitations when you started editing pages? 3. Have you ever been a victim of a mass deletion or other vandalism on Wikipedia? If yes, please explain the situation to me. 4. How would you describe your gender? 5. Is there anything else you would like to share with me about your experiences as a Wikipedia editor? Thank you for taking the time to read this email. I would like you to know that I am only sharing my research with my professor and the other students in my class. If you would like me to send you a copy of my final project, I would be more than happy to! Sincerely, Stelba90 (talk) 00:51, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

Hi! I emailed you, Stelba90. I hope you got it. If not, I'll resend. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 20:17, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

Caroline Bos

Hello Megalibrarygirl, I really like your articles and work. As a beginner in Wikipedia and Feminism I am practicing by translating and adding articles about female architects. Your work on the article about Caroline Bos is really good! Is it ok if I translate it directly? I try to avoid plagiarism by just translating basic info, but I like your Caroline piece a lot so I just want to translate it as it is. Also: do you know if she worked on áll the UNStudio-projects? The articles of several projects now refer often to "designed by Van Berkel, UNStudio". 3Charlotte (talk) 16:50, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

Hi 3Charlotte! Thanks for the complements on my work. I enjoy writing here on wiki, so I'm glad to be appreciated! :D You can definitely translate it: the work is now considered CC BY-SA 3.0, so it's part of the creative commons and free to use anywhere. As far as I can tell (and remember) she seems to be part of all of the UNStudio works. I imagine there's even more info on her in other languages. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 20:20, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

Thanks!

for your comment on an edit of mine that was in the afd list =) Rafapetunia (talk) 18:01, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
No problem, Rafapetunia! Your subject clearly met the Wiki criteria. ;) Keep up the good work and don't hesitate to ask for help from me or any of the editors at Women in Red where we are a friendly, helpful bunch. :) Thank you for the tasty brownie!!!! Antarctic History pages

Wow, the Women in Antarctica and Timeline of women in Antarctica pages are great! Janstrugnell pointed me to them this morning. Good use of copyright-free images! Thank you and well done! T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 23:16, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback, Evolution and evolvability! I was hoping it would turn out ok: I'm not used to writing such large articles, so your comments here are very much appreciated by me. It's really sad how many women would be redlinks if I linked them. I'm going to comb thru and add them to Women scientists, etc. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 23:32, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
