Sorry Michellecrisp, that was sloppy. I didn't mean to remove that tag. I just wanted to get a clean sandbox copy before it was deleted. --Geronimo20 (talk) 01:43, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your warning, however I am just a user of the site and a big fan. Do you work for the competition? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.246.82.69 (talk) 02:11, 1 October 2008 (UTC) 190.246.82.69 (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

Hi Michelle. Try {{Spa}}. Cheers, Mattinbgn\talk 02:14, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Ok, well I don´t work for them and havn´t been asked to edit. Someone told me that the company has an entry on Wikipedia and when I looked for it here, I saw this deletion nonsense.

I wasn´t undoing anything. I was adding back in the referances which were removed by this VS. Don´t encyclopedias need referances? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.246.82.69 (talk) 02:42, 1 October 2008 (UTC) 190.246.82.69 (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

your decision on WP:3RR page

Could you please reconsider, I've found an additional edit that may be construed as a revert. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/3RR#User:190.246.82.69_reported_by_User:Michellecrisp_.28Result:_No_violation.29Michellecrisp (talk) 13:38, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

I've semi-protected the page for 2 days. Stifle (talk) 14:03, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Courtesy note

Just FYI, I mentioned your name here.[1] No action is required on your part, I just wanted to make you aware, as a courtesy. --Elonka 16:06, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Kansas City, Missouri

The Missouri Barnstar of Merit
I award Michellecrisp this Missouri Barnstar for all the clean up, consolidation, and copy editing she has done on Kansas City, Missouri Grey Wanderer (talk) 13:19, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

AfD Jaguar and Millor

I changed my vote, those articles are 3 years old. Nobody at the Brazilian project bothered to updated them, I simply will not be dragged into improving them just to keep them existing. The people that created those article back in 2005 should haven taken care of it. Nice catch.

I appologize for the trouble. EconomistBR 00:26, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

High School articles

I am not a big fan of most high school articles but I am not all that distressed that they are in the main kept. The real problem is the desperate attempts to make them look like well-referenced articles by including every news item relating to the school that google can find regardless of how tangential they are. Most of the high school articles would be better off kept as sub-stubs rather than including mostly irrelevant info about a random attack or a sexual offending teacher etc. The expansion actually makes the articles worse rather than better and Chester Hill is a prime example. -- Mattinbgn\talk 12:32, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

AFD warning

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 17:08, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi Michelle - any reason for removing the redlink at Dunedin? I've put it back - it's simply an indication of an article that definitely needs writing (and a reminder to editors like me to get off our backsides and write it!) Grutness...wha? 00:20, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

PS - on, and yes, the local music industry is certainly thriving - simple statement of fact, not POV. Grutness...wha? 00:22, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Without context like a citation, it doesn't necessarily establish notablity to be included in an article. Yes red links may eventually come articles but there needs to be a reasonable limit on what is a real candidate for an article. Well, true enough - but I think that you can assume that the city hall of the fourth largest city in the country is an eligible candidate for an article. A good rule of thumb before removing such redlinks is to click on them and then on the "whatlinkshere" link, to see how many articles wwill link to it as soon as its created. In this case, there are five of them, which is better than this being a potential orphan. Point taken about the wording of the music bit, BTW. Grutness...wha? 00:37, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Rio

I restored the article to its contents before the 13/10/2008. The user below did dramatic changes to the article without the consent of the other editors:

01:59, 13 October 2008 BRikcd (Talk | contribs) (80,783 bytes) (Moving paragraphs from Lead to a new Overview section. UFRJ citation moved to Education section.) (undo)

I would recommend to leave the article the way it is until we have consensus among the editors. --Mhsb (talk) 02:29, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
