Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 16:50, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Fishel Jacobs, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fishel Jacobs. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. MrOllie (talk) 15:20, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You who has nominated Fishel Jacobs for deletion, I, the creator of that article, do NOT know, how to contact you.

To create that article, I used the Wikipedia article on Chuck Norris as a template.

I do not see your suggestions to delete that page?

Please advise how to either contact you, or defend this article as comparable to other similar articles, or if something is not up to par, to correct.

Thank you.

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 00:39, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Two Kings Book Series. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Two Kings Book Series. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be discouraged

[edit]

Hi Miriamrosenfeld: Shalom. You are probably feeling a little discouraged with the recent deletions of your two articles, but please don't be!! All beginnings are difficult, kol hatlchalot kashot! One cannot become an expert Wikipedia editor and contributor overnight. Wikipedia is by now a vast culture of its own and you need to know what works and how to work on it in order to make headway. I would suggest that you take a look at topics that are truly interesting to you in any field. It doesn't have to be a Jewish topic. Try to read some articles and see if you can spot any errors or things that need improvement and then do that slowly. If you have questions feel free to discuss things on other editors' talk pages. There is a good Judaism discussion section at WP:TALKJUDAISM, it's active and if you have questions there are always some good editors ready to help out and assist you one way or another. Feel free to contact me at my talk page at any time, or through my Email that is on the left hand of my "toolbox" on my User page at User:IZAK, when you click on it you will see this. Be in touch with me, I want to help you acclimate. I would also suggest that you fill in something about your interests on your still-empty User page User:Miriamrosenfeld, that way other editors will get a sense of you, your interests and whatever else you want to say that will gain you added crediblity. You do not have to say anything very personal, just some small things, it helps getting into the swing of things. Again, do not get discouraged and try to stay involved. Wikipedia is a great place, it's a global powerhouse of information used by hundreds of millions of people and still growing greatly. I've been editing and writing here almost seven years and I still love it. Best wishes and kol tuv. IZAK (talk) 11:07, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File:InsidePrison.jpg missing description details

[edit]
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:InsidePrison.jpg is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 00:41, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Miriamrosenfeld. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 22:39, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
