Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions have removed content without a good reason to do so. Content on Wikipedia should not be removed just because you disagree with it or because you think it's wrong, unless the claim is not verifiable. Instead, you should consider expanding the article with noteworthy and verifiable information of your own, citing reliable sources when you do so. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! —SpacemanSpiff 06:06, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Walrus Ji. I noticed that you recently removed content from Patanjali Ayurved without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Information icon Hello, I'm Ms Sarah Welch. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Hindu architecture, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page.
Please do not rely on blogs and websites and social media as a source as you did in Hindu architecture, or summarize such questionable sources in wikipedia. Please carefully read WP:RS guidelines and the links SpacemanSpiff provided above. Your cooperation is requested,

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Your fringe source at Hindu architecture

[edit]

You wrote: {Even though many historians think Islamic architectures were made on top of Hindu architecture. If one visit closely those Islamic places they will certainly found several sculptures of defaced Hindu God and Goddess. Qutub minar the most prominent example of that. It was surrounded by Hindu architectures, some of them unfinished converting them into Muslim architectures. It was also claimed by the famous American architect Prof. Marvin Mills that Taj Mahal was originally built by Hindus and later converted into a Mosque[1]."

He's not famous and he thinks the Mosque of Cordoba has its origins in Cordoba. He's a kook. Doug Weller talk 14:57, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Allahabad. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:50, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you have marked your disruptive edit to Faizabad district as minor. This behaviour is deceptive.

"Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.-- Toddy1 (talk) 12:07, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Amitav Malik.
You have just finished one block and restarted your disruption on your return - Arjayay (talk) 10:35, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Misra120: With things like this, you need to present evidence on the article talk page.-- Toddy1 (talk) 14:07, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Smile icon If you look, the article has now been renamed and corrected: Amitav Mallik. You did something good by spotting that his family name has two 'l's. The lesson from this is to use the article talk page to explain if you want to do something that people object to. -- Toddy1 (talk) 09:19, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on DMR Lakshmi Electronics requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
