Source for 207 series manufacturer details[edit]

Hi. Regarding this edit to the 207 series (JR East) article, do you have a source for the manufacturer details you added? I know this is stuff that's also written on the corresponding Japanese Wikipedia, but that does not appear to be sourced either, so we really need a reliable reference source for verification. If you can add a reliable source, that would be much appreciated. Otherwise, unverifiable details might be better left out. Thanks. --DAJF (talk) 09:12, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

Unsourced additions[edit]

Once again, can I ask you to please take the time to include a source when you add details to articles in future? As I mentioned above, just copying stuff from Japanese Wikipedia articles is not really acceptable, as many of those articles are hopelessly unsourced and in some cases inaccurate. Thanks. --DAJF (talk) 15:57, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 27[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Hokuriku Main Line, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shirasagi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

489 series retirement[edit]

Hi. In a recent edit to the 489 series article, you indicated that the entire class has now been withdrawn from service. Could you however add a page number for the part of the September 2012 issue of DJ Magazine which confirms this? Thanks. --DAJF (talk) 14:01, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Yes check.svg Done No worries - I found the bit that mentioned the official withdrawal. Note that it does not explicitly say anything about preservation though, so I have removed that part. --DAJF (talk) 06:03, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Kintetsu 9820 series[edit]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Kintetsu 9820 series, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Kintetsu 9020 series. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 15:05, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
