Proposed deletion of The Suffering (film)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Suffering (film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Accounting4Taste:talk 20:28, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your note, and your courtesy. I have often wondered where precisely that bit of policy (WP:NFF) came from. It's a tough balancing act. Some films are very nearly certain to be finished and marketed before a frame of film gets shot, as in one with major studios/stars, and some are so chancy as to be a coin-flip between existence and non-existence (as in the constantly recreated-then-deleted page for High School Musical 4/5/6). I believe the NFF policy is there to prevent Wikipedia from being cluttered with pages for films that never got off the ground but were announced, but it also works occasionally to prevent us from having interesting pages for films that are about to begin shooting and definitely will be finished. At any rate, I encourage you to recreate the page later, when the movie is further into its production cycle. To that end, if you want to preserve the keystrokes in a "sandbox" page or retrieve them at a later time, I'd be happy to help -- just drop me a note and remind me of the name of the film, and I'll dig out the keystrokes for your use. Thanks again for your understanding in this matter. If I can be of any assistance in the future, I'm at your service. Accounting4Taste:talk 23:45, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Westside Village

[edit]

Your addition at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Westside_Village,_Los_Angeles&diff=next&oldid=362398115 seems very thorough, but we need some published source so other readers can check out the facts. Has your research or your "own knowledge" been published anywhere? How would we ascertain that what you added is true? Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 18:43, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Robbie Fairchild

[edit]

Hello, Mohansen11. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Robbie Fairchild".
