Do you maybe mean "Wiki Defense"? Wikipedia is a specific Wiki (this one) and has nothing to do with Floyd Landis. Fan-1967 18:10, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That article has been deleted per CSD:A7, additionally Wikipedia is not a dictionary and has notability guidelines. Thanks/wangi 18:51, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that Wikipedia articles are for documenting phenomena which already exist, and you are trying to use this article to create awareness of a new phenomenon. Understand? DS 19:36, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That logic is kind of confusing because already existing is a condition of new. Unless you mean future instead of new. Besides, it isn't really Wikipedia policy on why Wikipedia defense cannot be an article. Policies that apply are WP:OR, WP:V, WP:RS, WP:NOT and maybe a few others. --ElectricEye (talk) 15:42, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Morscs5, you can write about "Wikidefense" as an essay on your userspace (User:Morscs5/Wikidefense) and invite others to review and contribute if you want. As long as it isnt nonsense, the community isn't likely to delete from your userspace. And if there is enough consensus, it coule be turned into an article on Wikipedia. --ElectricEye (talk) 15:42, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: Yes, anyone can add anything, go ahead an try it. If it is not acceptable it will be removed by someone. Thus it is best to only write things that can be verified to a reliable source. See Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Reliable sources Also please take a look at Wikipedia:No original research. Cheers ^_^ --ElectricEye (talk) 03:49, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
