Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, NLM Archives and Manuscripts, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for American Medical Association. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Hello! Wikipedia is a bit different from other websites in that organizational accounts are typically not allowed here! If you do much, you will be asked to change your username from the organizational name you are using to a personal account not owned or controlled by the organization but managed by an individual person who will not share the account. The policy is at WP:CORPNAME. I care a lot about health content on Wikipedia. If you want a tour of health content here then write me and we will meet sometime in a videoforum and navigate around together. Thanks for your interest. Also, you are continually adding a certain external link to articles which lead back to a library. This is probably appropriate, but on a larger scale, you may want to consider using this existing template for that.
I do not quite know everything about this box but if you are in DC, you might consider coming to the Chemical Heritage Foundation at the end of September to talk with them about their library practices on Wikipedia. They are presenting publicly on this and I think the maker of this box will be there. It made national news when he proposed it so it may still have some momentum, and if not perhaps they know best practices for this. Blue Rasberry (talk) 19:38, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to William C. Boyd may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • cc=nlmfindaid;view=reslist;subview=standard;didno=boyd397 <nowiki>William C. Boyd Papers (1944-1983 [bulk 1944-1950]] - National Library of Medicine finding aid</nowiki>
