User talk:Nekto
Hi, Nekto, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes)
- Try the editing tutorial and image tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area
- Stay away from common mistakes and follow these simple rules
- It's a good idea to use Show preview button and Edit summary box
- If you need help, don't be afraid to post a question at the Help Desk or on my user talk page
- Explore, be bold, and, most importantly, have fun!
- Oh, and don't forget to tell something about yourself on your user page!
Good luck! Renata3 13:27, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
Katyn massacre
[edit]Kudos for your work at talk:Katyn massacre. While in some cases you are plainly wrong or simply speculate without giving sources for backup, in some cases you are clearly right. But this is of secondary nature. What is important here is that you are one of the first people to speak about specific problems with the article and not about general concerns. Good to have you here, Nekto. Halibutt 23:36, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- What Halibutt said, and I'd also ask you to list your proposed changes in the relevant sections - while in most cases I see what you are criticising, I am not seeing what changes are you proposing to address your critique.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 02:00, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Hi again, you may be interested in the Russia portal here at Wikipedia. You are also welcome to add Portal:Russia/Russia-related Wikipedia notice board and Portal:Russia/New article announcements to your watchlist. --Ghirla | talk 12:45, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you, the portals have been added :) --Nekto 13:52, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your voting!
[edit]Hi, thanks for your voting on my RFA. It has finished with the result 88/14/9, and I am promoted. I am really overwhelmed with the amount of support I have got. With some of you we have edited many articles as a team, with some I had bitter arguments in the past, some of you I consider to be living legends of Wikipedia and some nicks I in my ignorance never heard before. I love you all and I am really grateful to you.
If you feel I can help you or Wikipedia as a human, as an editor or with my newly acquired cleaning tools, then just ask and I will be happy to assist. If you will feel that I do not live up to your expectation and renegade on my promises, please contact me. Maybe it was not a malice but just ignorance or a short temper. Thank you very much, once more! abakharev 07:34, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
