Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wisconsin Investment Partners, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Madison (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:07, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Nelly Mandl. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to General Catalyst, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Nelly Mandl. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Nelly Mandl|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. scope_creepTalk 16:25, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalism needs transparency!

[edit]

Hi Scope creep,

Since we do not know where the billions of dollars invested by these companies come from, we should at least know where they are invested. This is the only way we can bring investment companies out of anonymity when their investments fail, show no regard for human and animal rights or data protection, and damage our environment and climate. For this reason, I have added information about investments of the various funds. Information about bad investments easily disappears from company websites.

In this respect, a conflict of interest could at most arise with the investment companies. And they certainly do not pay me for this unwanted transparency.

Kind regards,

Nelly

@Nelly Mandl: That is WP:TENDENTIOUS editing. What you doing is strictly against policy. Wikipedia isn't here to WP:RIGHTGREATWRONGS. You clearly have some type of WP:COI at very least and I don't believe you are not being paid, as this is exactly what these companies want. Your not here: WP:NOTHERE. Lots lists of advertisements, that fail WP:PROMO. of their work is exactly what they want. I need to inform you, that I'm posting you up at COIN and the SPAM board. scope_creepTalk 16:24, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain namespaces ((Article)) for mass addition of investments to companies without consensus and a general general "right great wrongs" approach to editing..
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GeneralNotability (talk) 00:04, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
