The article Journal of Graphic Engineering and Design has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable journal. Not indexed in any selective databases, no independent sources. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Removal of email content

[edit]

Hi Nemanja Kasikovic, as you see I have removed the email you posted- it was unnecessary in any case, as it does not prove the journal's notability, but most important is that is is unlikely (correct me if I'm wrong, of course) that you had permission from the sender to publish the communiqué under a creative commons licence (as we use here). So it is removed. On the other matter, the journal is possibly notable- but at the moment the only sources you have provided to verify this are primary sources (directories, etc), and these are insufficient I'm afraid. May I ask, do you have a professional or commercial relationship with the journal, its editorial board, or in any other way? Cheers, — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 11:46, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

--Nemanja Kasikovic (talk) 12:00, 1 April 2017 (UTC) Yes, I am an editor in this journal, but that is on a voluntary base. I am an assistant professor on University of Novi Sad and from 2016 I am a second editor because I have good results in scientific work.[reply]
OK; then you should not be editing the article in fact, as you have a clear conflict of interest with the subject matter. Thanks for the information though The best thing you can do is wait until someone independent to the journal thinks it has become notable in their eyes, and writes the article for you. Cheers, — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 12:25, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

--Nemanja Kasikovic (talk) 12:38, 1 April 2017 (UTC) Ok, but I did not write anything wrong. I only copy + paste information from our web site. You can find same information on www.grid.uns.ac.rs/jged However, thank you very much for your time. If you want, please delete our page.[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Nemanja Kasikovic. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Randykitty (talk) 12:36, 1 April 2017 (UTC) --Nemanja Kasikovic (talk) 12:43, 1 April 2017 (UTC) Thank you very much, but I only copy + paste information from web site.
