Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. References
[edit]Adding references is how we ensure that content is valid. Without references, a reader can not easily validate information and there is no presumption of accuracy. See Help:Referencing for beginners and Help:footnotes. This is covered by the Wikipedia policy of wp:verifiability (WP:V). Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources (RS). Per WP:V unsourced content can be removed. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 08:06, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
I undid your edit as your reference was incorrectly constructed. Please use a wp:template such as template:cite book. Remember to include the ISBN number in the cite book. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:07, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
I removed your content again as it was unsourced. If you would like some help adding a reference, please leave a note here. Add to your talk page here: {{yo|Jim1138}} *your message* ~~~~ *signature* Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:12, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Another welcome
[edit]Hi Nick! Thank you for your addition to Gwennap. I think the other editors were a bit too hasty in removing your edits (though most of them did offer to help you). It doesn't take much for an experienced editor to format a reference, so I've reinstated your additions to the article. Please don't be discouraged and if you have any further edits you think would benefit the encyclopedia, please do make them. It's one of our policies that contributions don't have to be perfect, because Wikipedia is a continual work-in-progress: see WP:PERFECTION. The idea is that if something is not quite right, another editor will come along and fix it (not just remove it!)
I hope this helps. Feel free to comment or ask any questions here; I'll be watching this page for a while. Best wishes, —SMALLJIM 09:49, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
