The claim of a cook, reported by a newsletter, is not a reliable source for the etymology of a word, especially a nationalist newsletter. Cookbooks are also not reliable sources for etymology. The 'dolmak' etymology is straightforward and supported by multiple reliable sources. There appear to be only a handful of Urartian derivations in Armenian, and toli is not one of them. (John A. C.
