Working on articles
[edit]Please consider working on articles. Talk page are to ask and answer questions about work on articles. Talk pages are not intended to be for chat not related to article work. Editors who use all their energies to create User pages, or asking question after question at Teahouse, or for chat with other editors, are at risk for being blocked for not being here to work on the encyclopedia. The tutorials recommended to you should improve your comfort level. David notMD (talk) 18:31, 9 October 2020 (UTC)

Notes
[edit]Hi. At Special:Diff/985074857 (Nigeria national football team results (2010â19)), you added your personal opinion of the team. Please remember that this type of commentary is never appropriate in a Wikipedia article. Only summarize what reliable sources have written about a subject, and cite the source so other editors can verify the statement. Also, the "Notes" section of an article has a specific purpose for a particular type of footnote system (see MOS:NOTES); it should not contain prose that is not referred to elsewhere in the article. The template that was in that section, suggesting people should add to it, was actually incorrect, since if there are no footnotes, there are apparently none required. I've removed the section entirely. â[AlanM1Â (talk)]â 16:04, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
User pages
[edit]Hello again. At Special:Diff/984828046, you edited the user page User:Obiorah Precious Oby. Editors are responsible for maintaining their own user pages, and it's generally poor form to edit someone else's user page without their permission (I didn't see any evidence of that on either of the talk pages). Generally, articles are the only type of page where you should be modifying another editor's contributions. Thanks. â[AlanM1Â (talk)]â 16:17, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
