Orphaned non-free media (File:Salt_Life_Logo.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Salt_Life_Logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 20:04, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free files in your user space

[edit]

Hey there Noted Seven, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Noted Seven/Salt. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

  • See a log of files removed today here.

Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:01, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!

[edit]

It is Patiño. Please note that most English-language newspapers only use English letters without diacritics, so they incorrectly write Patino, which is a totally different sound. --Againme (talk) 20:38, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, my apologies! I didn't mean to undo your change. I got sidetracked during an edit and tried to reconcile the page and my edits but must have missed that one. I won't change it again. Have a nice day :) Noted 7 (t · c) 20:59, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please create Handism

[edit]

I see you have started a handism sandbox. I think it is ready to be published. Remember though Handism is a general form of discrimination based on handedness not a speciic one againist those who are left handed.--Rainbowofpeace (talk) 21:57, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm really nowhere near done, sorry D: I'm working on it, but I can be slow unfortunately. I'm considering just making it "Bias against left-handers", though, unless i can find some good sources on bias against the right-handed. Noted 7 (t · c) 22:37, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know there is discrimination againist ambihandedness (i'm trying to be polite). You just have to say it is discrimination based on handedness in all forms you don't need to describe discrimination against right handed people specifically just make sure its mentioned. I would like to see something about discrimination againist those who are ambihanded as I am. -Rainbowofpeace (talk) 11:57, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll look for sources. I'm cross-dominant, actually (write with left hand, use scissors with right hand, etc). If you can find anything good, let me know? But I'll be on the lookout. Sorry if anything I've said has come across as rude? I don't mean it that way! Noted 7 (t · c) 14:09, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fixing vandalism

[edit]

Hello, when you find a page that obviously seems messed up (e.g. it has no reference list or no categories), check the page history to find out if it has been recently vandalised. For example, at the article functional illiteracy, a vandal removed the appendix sections, categories and interwiki links, but you simply added a reference section without fixing any of the other problems caused by that vandal. The best thing to do in that case would have been to revert the vandalism which I've just done. Graham87 07:29, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, BTW, I hope you don't mind the edit that I've made to your user page. Graham87 07:39, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, sorry, I was kind of running through pages and ended up overlooking things like that. Sorry! I forget to check sometimes.... As for the edit to my userpage, all you did was remove spaces, so I don't care lol. Noted 7 (t · c) 14:44, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

YAYAYAY!! THANK YOU! :) Noted 7 (t · c) 13:31, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings. I am willing to review the GA nomination for the Trapper Nelson article. Before I do, however, I want to be sure you're still around and will be available to make required changes. I notice you haven't edited in a while. Are you still on Wikipedia? Thanks, – Quadell (talk) 13:46, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I am still here! :) Thank you for your willingness to review the article. Noted 7 (t · c) 18:01, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent. I will start in on it then. – Quadell (talk) 18:50, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Trapper Nelson

[edit]

The article Trapper Nelson you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Trapper Nelson for things which need to be addressed. – Quadell (talk) 20:35, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I just wanted to remind you about this. It's been on hold for 4 days, and I usually only leave them open for about a week. It's really quite close to attaining GA status... there are just a few things that need to happen first. Do you think you'll be able to get those done in the next several days? All the best, – Quadell (talk) 13:53, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I will! Sorry, I got a cold and my head has been fuzzy so I haven't been able to concentrate well, but I will get to it before the week is up. :) Thank you! Noted 7 (t · c) 20:32, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, just bugging you again. I'm going to have to close it after this weekend. No hard feelings either way. All the best, – Quadell (talk) 12:32, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Closed. Did not pass GA nom. Please feel free to renominate once the issues have been resolved. All the best, – Quadell (talk) 12:43, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
