Unspecified source for Image:Filmstartrisha.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Filmstartrisha.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then you need to specify who owns the copyright, please. If you got it from a website, then a link to the website where it was taken from with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:33, 17 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 15:33, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Filmstartrisha.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Filmstartrisha.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Yamla 15:33, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Image:Filmstartrisha.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Filmstartrisha.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 15:33, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Blatant vandalism
[edit]Image problems
[edit]Every image you have uploaded is missing mandatory information and many of them are in violation of WP:FU (we may only use freely-licensed images to depict living people). Wikipedia takes these violations very seriously as you are directly placing Wikipedia at risk of copyright-infringement lawsuits. Please refrain from uploading any more images until you have gone back and fixed the substantial problems with the images you have already uploaded. Additionally, please refrain from uploading any more images without the mandatory information. Thanks. --Yamla 15:36, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- You have been blocked for your continued violations. --Yamla 05:09, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Filmstar_Vijay.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Filmstar_Vijay.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Giga Society, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Pan Dan 13:22, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Giga Society, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article is a repost of either already posted material, or of material that was previously deleted in a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Giga Society is different from all other articles, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Giga Society saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we ask you to follow these instructions. Pan Dan 22:21, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Energy Superpower page countries list
[edit]While I appreciate your listing of Iran, Iraq, and Kazakhstan as potential energy superpowers, I would like to inform you that Iran and Iraq DO NOT possess energy reserves nearly equal to that of Saudi Arabia's. In fact their energy reserves fall considerably short of even Canada's, which has the world's second largest quantity of oil reserves after Saudi Arabia, hence its status as an emerging energy superpower. Just one suggestion next time you edit my Energy superpower page-please include some additional information when you list countries on those particular countries. I will endeavor to add some more info to those countries in the coming week. Thanks, Drakeguy 21:38, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
I seem to have forgotten to check the editing history of those who contributed. It was someone called Beagle who added Iran, Iraq and Kazakhstan; my apologies, Drakeguy 03:24, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
It seems our editing of the page has fallen short on discussing nuclear, so feel free to bring it up. However as you'll notice, there is already some mention of uranium/nuclear energy powers mentioned. The three we have on the page are (in order of production), Canada, Australia, and Kazakhstan. What I would recommend you do is list those states with the largest uranium reserves and production on the page, or just find the specific figures on their reserves. I know uranium is relatively concentrated in a few countries, so there won't be many new entries even if we missed one. I know Russia's got significant deposits, but I don't know any solid numbers. Perhaps you could put in an edit once you find the info on Russia's reserves. I will be editing Australia's entry to discuss their enormous reserves of uranium shortly. However, as this page has to do with energy reserves and the money (& international influence bought) from selling those reserves, France would not qualify as an energy superpower. Think about it-the French may use massive quantities of the energy, but this page isn't about using the energy (or else the United States would be on the page), but selling it (or the fuel for it). Therefore Canada, Australia, Kazakhstan, and Russia are in here and France is not. Drakeguy 00:49, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and one more thing, I've been trying to get users to post where these countries rank in terms of energy production/reserves in multiple fields. I think Kazakhstan & Canada are the two that have been most completely covered, with several areas of energy being discussed. Kazakhstan is an oil/natural gas & uranium potential energy superpower; Canada is a hydroelectric energy superpower, and is number one on earth in uranium production as well (with oil superpower status soon to occur). I would venture to guess there are a few more countries you could find that are more diverse like that (my bets are on Australia & Russia). Regards, Drakeguy 01:01, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Max Tiefenbacher
[edit]An editor has nominated Max Tiefenbacher, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Max Tiefenbacher and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. List of companies working in Technopark
[edit]I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article List of companies working in Technopark, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Redirect of IT companies in India
[edit]To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting IT companies in India, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate IT companies in India itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 14:20, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Cognizant SEC filings
[edit]Hi, I noticed you had edited the Cognizant Wiki with some info on what the CEOs make. I was just wondering if you had ever looked at the company SEC filings. As they are based in the USA, they have to file these papers. They have their own link to them: http://www.cognizant.com/html/investors/sec.html

Nomination of Top One Percent Society for deletion
[edit]The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Top One Percent Society until a concensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.
You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. WeijiBaikeBianji (talk) 01:23, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Chapati, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tamil (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 11:26, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
