I'm not making a category page, I'm making a category box which can be added to the bottom of pages, such as pages for defunct amusement parks in California.

Pussycat Dolls[edit]

Your actions of adding a timeline for the lineup is WP:disruptive. the lineup change is summarized in the infobox and mentioned throughout the article. By adding a timeline you are deliberately giving the article more weight towards its lineup. The group is still active and so an equal weight should be given to the past and upcoming future of the band. Please do not add the table again or revert my removal of it. Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:43, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Which is exactly the reason as to why the timeline should not be included. The purpose of the past members section is to show exactly who's been in the group and for when. If you look no wikipedia rule page permits the use of the timeline for group/artist pages. No other major group page to my knowledge has one. It will be removed. If you wish to include it please look at WP:Consensus and start a discussion on the talk page. But considering that it is a new (and potentially pointless addition) it will be removed until there is a majority community opinion that it is justified. Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:54, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Because in each of those cases you've added the timeline yourself. They did not exist before. AlsoLil-unique1 (talk) 00:07, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And they are very valid timelines.Instead of deleting factual information, and deleting articles, why don't you try contributing to Wikipedia?

Excuse me how very rude of you. I've been editing for over 1 year and have contributions to over 300 articles. I have over 1000 in my watchlist and have won several awards for my editing. Timelines are non-conventional and do not add significant information to an article. they do not add any new information but simply display information thats already in an article over again. This is a bad use of space and time and effort. Look at pages such as Girls Aloud, Monrose, Michael Jackson (which is award winning), Whitney Houston, Celine Dion. None of those i contribute to but all do note use timelines. Re-assess your decision to include them. Lil-unique1 (talk) 00:15, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And it's pretty rude of you to delete my hard work. I've contributed very much to wikipedia to make it as accurate as possible, and all of the information I've added, including the timelines, are accurate. Unlike you, when I see something inaccurate, I correct it or make it accurate, instead of just deleting it. And many of those artist pages include grids and boxes listing the Artists awards, singles, albums, etc, even though that information is already listed elsewhere in the article. Why even have a separate discography page for anartist when all the information is already listed in the texts of the artists main article?

I think me and you have got off on the wrong foot. its quite obvious that your new to editing and have yet to fully learn the rules. A discography page is a SUMMARY of information contained on single and album pages. Just think for someone like Mariah Carey she has 12 studio albums, 1 remix album, 1 holiday album and around 40 singles. The discography page summarizes that information. However a timeline that is around 2kb in size is not justified for an artist/group on thier home page. The infobox summarizes the information and the artist page briefly discusses their achievment. Note how most of the page has dates to help navigate? Trust me from editing experience, if an experienced editor reverts your edits but you genuinly feel they are of worth discuss it on the talk page that's what its for. Rapid reversions and personal slanging will only result in a ban. I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume WP:good faith but in future you need to keep calm when editing. there are subjects were all passionate about which is fine. but irrationality results in WP:disruptive editing and demonstrating [{WP:IDHT]] nearly always ends in a ban. BY wikipedia we doing things with a WP:Consensus. Lil-unique1 (talk) 00:36, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Series & Cast Timeline"[edit]

This table is not encyclopedic and should not be added to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers or any similar pages. Any changes in the casts and characters can be described in prose.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 02:26, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Golfland[edit]

The article Golfland has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Advertising. Doesn't assert notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ...William 21:34, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
