Thanks and Feedback
First, thanks for the message you left on my talkpage :). Glad that rating all those articles was of so much help to the project.
Secondly, some feedback on the Chicago article as requested. This is the first time ive given a "Review" for an article so i hope im not being to mean (or unmean lol). Ive based review mainly on the article structure and my personal opinions.
- Plot Synopsis is good but could do with slight expansion and also cleaning up of other areas to make it flow better.
- The Musical Analysis section LOOKS very messy in presentation terms but the information is very good, perhaps make a table and also include who sings the song?
- Hisory section should go before the plot synopsis.
- Found something on the article structure page that must have been removed (Not sure if you removed it or someone else did before. It was
In "Nowadays", Roxie and Velma sing about the "good things" of life in 1924. The items that they identify as "good" however, including booze, cheating, and murdering, are not good. This song that is, on surface level, about the good life, upon further analysis, is about the corruption present in 1924. Several times throughout the song, the two sing, "In fifty years or so / It's gonna change, you know." Chicago was set in 1924 and premiered in 1975. Through their sarcasm, Roxie and Velma are, in fact, accusing the audience of being everything "bad" depicted in the musical. (From the musical Chicago)
I think this analysis is quite good and could possibly be added.
- Deletion of the "Red-Linked" actors in the Famous actors and actressed list.
- I dont think the reference of the film Roxie Hart (film) should be in this article as it is based on the play and not the musical. Therefroe the adaptions section could be renamed something like "Film Adaption" or something :S.
- Is missing a "Response" section and a "Recordings" section which could greatly expand the information provided in the article.
Other than that, a very good article. Possibly could be made into a "Good" class article some day?

Msg. left to me by you on Talk Page
Hi, I apologize for that.It would be nice if you could call the troll 164.156.231.55 an editor, but it's a troll. I won't counteract them again, but you should put a stop on THEIR VANDALISM. I was merely trying to get them to stop vandalizing the TPIR page....no harm meant. Thanks Hdayejr 20:31, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

I understand to keep a cool head, but his constant vandilism to articles and other's user pages, and his falsifying information obsesvily, really placed the last hair. I'm pretty sure my actions were justified. — Ian Lee (Talk) 02:33, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Userpage protection
Thanks for reverting vandalism on my userpage. I go out to run an errand and come back to find it's been vandalized 5 times! I suspect this is the same AOL user who got bent out of shape for being warned in May, who repeatedly vandalized my page then. Anyway, thanks again. An administrator has semi-protected my userpage so that anonymous IP addresses can no longer edit it. In May it got protected for 1 month; hopefully this time it's permanent. There is absolutely no reason why an anonymous IP should be allowed to edit registered userpages anyway. -Amatulic 06:05, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
You can put the blame partially on AOL. For years now, they've made the "throwaway" free kits available to anyone without requiring much information. If AOL really gave a good damn about the internet, they'd require information to verify the individual using it, such as it is, they don't. If they gave a crap about the internet(which I haven't seen thing one in 10 years to the contrary), they would do this. Until then, AOL will be the crapstain of the internet they've always been!!!! Hdayejr 16:00, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, it's been the same vandal for a long time now (months). His vandal edits are essentially the same (he's obsessed with "Justin's" penis for some reason, frequently posting a message to that effect on the Tiny article), and he follows a predictable pattern: if you warn him, he vandalizes your userpage. If you get your userpage protected, he vandalizes your talk page.
- This isn't an AOL throwaway account. This is an AOL customer. The same AOL customer. The real problem with AOL is that AOL assigns each customer a new IP address on almost every HTTP request. Therefore it's impossible to block an anonymous AOL user. -Amatulic 22:32, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

And I also enjoyed your snazzy status indicator, and wanted one of my own, but it appeared like you had to update it yourself, which I have very little desire to do. What script do you use for your online/offline thing? At first i thought you used Misza13's Status Switcher Script, but you dont have a StatusTemplate page and the code on your Status page is differnt than misza's. Please give me a link, thanks! EvilHom3r 00:09, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:West-End-Chicago-The-Musical-Marquee.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:West-End-Chicago-The-Musical-Marquee.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 17:53, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:StreetcarDesire.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:StreetcarDesire.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 22:42, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Code attention
Hey, man. I know you're busy with school and all (read: drinking and enjoying life), but if you could take a look at the code for {{WPMT Sidebar}}, I'd appreciate it. When you go to expand the section on statistics, it gives all kinds of crazy stuff, and I don't know what's causing it. Thanks! — MusicMaker5376 18:44, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Chicago--A-Musical-Vaudeville-CD-Cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Chicago--A-Musical-Vaudeville-CD-Cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:16, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:West-End-Chicago-The-Musical-Marquee.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:West-End-Chicago-The-Musical-Marquee.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 23:07, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
