Speedy deletion nomination of The Life of Mr Carter

[edit]

Hello Oreratile46,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Life of Mr Carter for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Tha Carter V Spamming

[edit]

I've noticed that there's currently almost a cat and mouse game going on the "Tha Carter V" album page, where you continuously keep adding unsourced and improperly formatted content to the article. While it is obviously encouraged that users try to take the next step in their contributions and try to add new sections to articles, this cannot work if the work is unsourced. Formatting can at first be simpler, as this is something that another user can fix if the information provided is already sourced, but unsourced information about an album that has not yet been released will unfortunately keep getting deleted until official/reliable sources confirm the track listing, which includes a list of songs in their running order, length of track and writing credits. There are criteria to be met with edits to articles and if you keep ignoring what those criteria are, your edits will keep being undone. If you have any questions, just drop me a line on my talk page. Hello sir, I'm truly sorry for adding unsourced tracks, I've edited the right tracks, so why are they not showing it?

Unsourced information about the Carter V

[edit]

I didn't know, I'm sorry if I made unsourced tracks, I just wanted to add some tracks.Oreratile46 (talk) 04:16, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited My Will, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Drake (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:26, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What are you doing??? This article Family Ties (Fat Joe and Dre album) needs proper fixing, it's in a mess and may be WP:QD. Read WP:Your first article and how to user an infobox. Thank you 6Packs (talk) 12:31, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Family Ties (Fat Joe and Dre album), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 6Packs (talk) 12:32, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Family Ties (Fat Joe and Dre album). The proper criteria for article information

[edit]

The proper criteria for article information is to provide a reliable source (i.e. not a blog or a gossip magazine that is famous for spewing lies) for the information you are posting. When it comes to album track listing, it is often best to either wait until the album is officially released, or until the artist themselves confirms the track listing in some way. In this case, I would have to advise some much needed patience, as you're doing nothing but wasting time editing the track listing into the article, only for someone to remove it because the information is not correct. I hope this helps to clarify on how you should proceed from this point on when it comes to editing articles, especially ones concerning album track lists.

Family Ties (Fat Joe album moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Family Ties (Fat Joe album, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 15:29, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oreratile46 you are sending messages to your own talk page. It's highly unlikely that someone will see or even respond to you. Talk is for other editors to leave you messages to which you can respond. If you want to ask a question, please do you at Wikipedia:Teahouse or you can leave me a message on my talk. Cheers 6Packs (talk) 15:36, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've had a quick look for sources. Is there anything substantial out there? Like the release date of 30 Sep? The last source I found (dates two days ago) says it's coming "later this year". Hardly the pre-launch vibe one would expect?! As it is, it shouldn't be in main space. No indication of notability as it stands so far. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 15:38, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

About Mickey and the Roadster Racers

[edit]

Why did they remove my edit of one of the episodes on Mickey and the Roadster Racers? Oreratile46 (talk) 13:50, 30 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vatiswa Ndara requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
