License tagging for Image:Nanyang Primary Crest.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Nanyang Primary Crest.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:08, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks!

[edit]

Thanks for the fixing you did to the article on The Joint Expedition Against Franklin. I have alot of good content but am not that great at proper grammer. ( I should but i am much better at programming languages.) I accidently reoved your changes when an edit conflict would have removed the new content I am adding. If you could just keep an eye on the page and make changes that you see necessary, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, that is ok too. Thanks! Chris Kreider 16:28, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

who is it?

[edit]

Hi Ouishoebean, I am user:Politis. The IP I work from is, 161.74.11.24 and it belongs to an institution. It seems that a member of this institution has been misbehaving by wikipedia standards rather than acting in a manner proper with their duties. If possible, could you let me know what the offending edit was? Thanks user:Politis.

Thanks. It looks to me like 'student graffiti'. Saddly, it is impossible for me, personally, to trace. I will see what I can do through the computer administration. Politis 12:55, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations!

Thanks! I'll probably be there for only a few hours though, which should make you happy =). Anyway, here's the evidence to 1001 points: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Human_feces&diff=86514126&oldid=86514110. -- Ouishoebean 15:43, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Barnstar for you =D

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
I hereby award this barnstar to Ouishoebean for consistently reverting vandalism tirelessly (and through the night with me) and warning IPs against vandalism. Even though you're relatively new, you fit in here perfectly, and somehow you've injected that enthusiasm into me as well. You've been a great user. You deserve this ;D - SpLoT / (talk) 16:08, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! =) Replied with this message on your talk page too. -- Ouishoebean 15:14, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AIV Request

[edit]

Hi - I've not blocked 219.88.51.187 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) because there has been no vandalism after the test3. If he/she continues to vandalise, drop me a note on my talk page and I'll block them. Also, when listing on WP:AIV, you should use the synax shown here for vandal users, and with {{IPVandal}} for IPs. Thanks Martinp23 12:24, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. Thanks. I'll note that :) -- Ouishoebean / (talk) 12:26, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your reversion to Wigan on November 22, 2006

[edit]

Being from Singapore, I wouldn't imagine you to have an extensive knowledge about the history of small towns in England, let alone a greater knowledge than a person who has lived there for the last forty eight years. Battery Creek High School change on Nov 25 2006

[edit]

Where did you hear about a Burton Battery Creek High School? The towns of Burton and Beaufort have an ambiguous relation to even residents, but the wiki page for it clarifies things "Burton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Beaufort County, South Carolina, United States." The two towns are right next to each other and for the most part Buron is considered a sub area of Beaufort. There is only one Battery Creek High School in that area though it is listed as being in both Beaufort and Burton depending on the source, however the schools main site ( linked on it's wiki page ) puts it in Beaufort. Could you share your information on this, or revert the disambig changes otherwise? Flamesplash 17:29, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just asking you kindly, because it was very important to me and my family. My mother cried and my dad disowned me. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Aubrey Jones (talkcontribs) 15:31, 8 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Naw, I need everyone's help. It's a huge undertaking which the 3 groups should collaborate on ;) I find it difficult to appropriately rename the future-article, and I think the present name should do fine if effects on Sumatra are not too severe.
