Hello ParmeetNijjar, I have reviewed and accepted your draft on Oleg Prezhdo but have a number of comments:

  • I note that one of his PhD students is "Parmeet Kaur Nijjar"[1] and assume that this is you? This obviously gives you a conflict of interest in writing about the group's research work and you should read the guidelines on handling this carefully before editing the article.
  • It is preferred to have reliable sources, which are independent of the subject & his institution, for as much material as possible in a biography. These have largely not been provided. If you do not add such material, the article might be subject to future deletion requests. Books, reviews or research papers from other groups that discuss Prezhdo's work in detail are needed. Award citations can be a useful source. Once these are in place, other material can be provided from sources such as the subject's resume and university pages.
  • I have removed Prof Prezhdo's date of birth for privacy reasons; for living people a published source is required for such data.
  • Prezhdo is not listed as a current editor of J Phys Chem;[2] as the other editorships are correct I assume that this just means he retired from this position sometime recently, but an end date and a reference would be useful here.
  • The list of publications could do with pruning to perhaps one or two reviews (preferably open access and accessible to non-specialists), as well as 4–5 of the subject's most highly cited research articles.
