Why you have removed the edit in Siddharth Nigam Wikipedia page?

[edit]

Hello, I know that it was a blog page that you Removed as citation . But in real he is a member of International Human Rights PROTECTION council. And the blog page that I have added in that Siddharth Nigam's photo holding that award was present. So please add that edit back. Kishmish Hu Main Ok (talk) 05:51, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Kishmish Hu Main Ok: I have re-added that in media section. It should not be in the lead and do NOT add blog as source. -- Parnaval (talk) 06:42, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, Thank You Kishmish Hu Main Ok (talk) 08:24, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wanted you to check a few sources.

[edit]

Hello! I wanted you to check these few sources [1] [2] [3] [4] and let me know that whether I could add them to Avneet Kaur's wikipedia page - media section. Kindly do tell me which ones from these 4 I could add which ones I can't (if any). Thank you. Manalijain (talk) 12:47, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Manalijain: Sorry for late reply. Let me tell you one thing. A source is generally considered reliable if it does NOT publish fake news. A source is secondary if it has no relation with article subject. Above sources are independent and may be do not publish fake news. BUT . . . are these awards notable. Imagine if you start your own website and publish true news and give awards of your own. Example Most fiery Raven award ;) goes to Avneet. Then should we include that too in Wikipedia ??? . NO, of course . Why? Because your site is NOT reputable and award you gave is minor. Same is valid for above sites and awards
Remember, If a news is significant enough to be included in Wikipedia the it will be published by media house like Hindutan times, tribune etc. also along with IWMbuzz. so cite that news from Hindustan times.
But, if a news is available only in IWMbuzz / indiaforums and not in reliable sources mentioned at WP:ICTFSOURCES, then that news most probably doesn't qualify for inclusion, per WP:NOT.
Pinging Ravensfire so they could verify whether I have explained above things correctly. -- Parnaval (talk) 11:43, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Parnaval Okay, thanks for the brief explanation, I understood. Also, since you hadn't replied earlier so I had asked @Ravensfire: about the same and they have already made their side of explanation done.
Also, regarding your point that whether these mentioned awards are notable or not, then I would state that though they don't have any wikipedia article on them and can't be considered notable and hence these awards do stay minor but are completely true.
So, just wanted to clarify regarding this and the reason I posted these sources here on your talk-page was to have your opinion on them so I could improve with my editing and research. And yes, next time I will try finding more accurate sources and sites which probably qualify for inclusion on Wikiepdia. Thank you! Manalijain (talk) 12:05, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please add a new picture

[edit]

Hello @Parnaval I have Added two pictures of Siddharth Nigam in the info box you removed one because it's not looking that good and you removed one because of copyright. So please add a picture of SIDDHARTH NIGAM between 2019 to present because the picture that you have added In the info box is too old ( of 2017) he was a teenager at that time. So please add new picture of his in info box Kishmish Hu Main Ok (talk) 14:17, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Kishmish Hu Main Ok: What is this behaviour ! The image that existed earlier in infobox was from 2016, you didn't had any problem. But now when I replaced it with 2017, you want more recent! Images copyrighted by others can not be used, which is the case in all the sites you mentioned above. If I find a more recent non copyrighted image then I will add it but please, you should NOT add copyrighted images. -- Parnaval (talk) 06:33, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok , that was too old that's why I SAID why are you being rude!! Kishmish Hu Main Ok (talk) 06:35, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am not being rude, just confused how 2016 is not old and 2017 is old. -- Parnaval (talk) 10:42, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Suhani Shah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Suhani Shah. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
