Thanks --pgk(talk) 22:09, 24 January 2006 (UTC) Interlanguage links[edit]Cool talk page. I noticed you removed an interlanguage link from Chuck Norris. pl:Article adds a link on the left TOC to the article's page on the Polish Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Interlanguage_links for more info. Mrtea (talk) 00:04, 27 January 2006 (UTC) Note from User talk:Pattersonci[edit]Chuck[edit]That's okay. It was a minor oversight. -R. fiend 06:32, 26 January 2006 (UTC) [I moved this from User talk:Pattersonci to your talk page. I think it was put there accidently and meant for you. Hi. You recently reverted my edit to Chuck Norris Facts, marking it as vandalism. In case you don't remember, I changed the link http://chucknorrisfacts.com/ to http://www.4q.cc/chuck/ . I'd like to point out to you that not only is the latter link higher in importance on a Google search for "chuck norris facts" than is the first link, but furthermore the first link is not even valid any longer. At least in my case, I get an HTTP 403 Forbidden. I believe that your revert was based on a lack of information rather than a serious disagreement with my reasons for the edit, so I will reinstate said edit one time. Please notify me if you have any other concerns regarding this modification to the article. — flamingspinach | (talk) 01:56, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

Hope the rv reasoning makes sense. Post here for discussion Tomservo3000 08:25, 27 January 2006 (UTC) KFed[edit]I've no idea. my change was simply that there was no blog on that site. BabuBhatt 21:53, 27 January 2006 (UTC) Sandbox[edit]Thank you for adding the approprioate text back to the sandbox. Clearly an oversight on my part. differnces, pros and cons[edit]It might be possible to make wiki pages for "differnces, pros and cons" at this wiki. --JWSchmidt 04:10, 30 January 2006 (UTC) Quarls nomination[edit]Hey, I noticed you on Quarl's talk page. Although he's been reluctant I nominated him anyways... and I'm awaiting for his response... but feel free to vote and hopefully he'll accept Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/Quarl . ~ Cheers —This user has left wikipedia 19:59 2006-02-01 Regarding SVGs[edit]The mediawiki software automatically renders SVG's to PNGs to be displayed. You can render a vector image as big as you want. All users see the rendered version of the image, thus they dont need a SVG capable browser. I usually extract company logos from PDFs, (you can do that w/ Illustrator), I dont convert PNGs to SVGs, but you can (watch out for size, they add too many vertices). ~ Cheers —This user has left wikipedia 20:43 2006-02-01 Unblocking the auto-block[edit]Hey there - User:Achille just got in touch with me to have your IP unblocked. As you probably know, creating the account User:Chip_off_the_ol'_█ triggered an automatic indefinite block of that account, and also a 24 hour block of the creating IP - which, I assume, was yours. :) The IP should be unblocked now, so you shouldn't have any problems with editing. If you do, feel free to get in touch. Cheers! --PeruvianLlama(spit) 21:53, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
Your recent edit asserts that the iSight in the new intel iMac is 1.2 megapixels, but the link you provide as a source doesn't mention this. In fact I couldn't find anywhere that states the resolution of this camera, so where are you getting the info from? Graham 07:00, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Hi Patterson, thanks for asking to nominate me to be an admin and then supporting my RFA, which succeeded. If I can ever improve or help in any way, please let me know! :) —Quarl (talk) 2006-02-16 11:14Z
FIFA World Cup -- Today's Featured Article[edit]Go for it. I'd do it myself, but I don't know how to nominate it. Please nominate it for the starting date of the tournament (9 June). Thanks! — Ian Manka Talk to me‼ 22:05, 8 May 2006 (UTC) Reminder...[edit]When using template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. — Ian Manka Talk to me‼ 21:28, 12 May 2006 (UTC) File permission problem with File:WebKit-r30119.png[edit]Thanks for uploading File:WebKit-r30119.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license. If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy.
