The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJmFEzXH1lw) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. The article Eddie Astanin has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Ways to improve Eddie Astanin
[edit]Hi, I'm Jbhunley. Pellepelle, thanks for creating Eddie Astanin!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The article as it stands reads more like a resume than a biography.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. JbhTalk 16:41, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
Eddie Astanin
[edit]I have "stubbed" the article you created on Eddie Astanin for a couple of reasons. First, it read more like a CV or resume than a biography and conflated events that occurred while he was Chairman with events he was directly responsible for. Secondly, Wikipedia's notability guidelines require significant coverage in independent reliable sources to demonstrate the notability of an article subject. What this means is a source must be published by a third party with a solid reputation for fact checking and accuracy. We need this to be able to verify the information in an article. For a living person we have a high standard of referencing. Every substantive fact you assert, especially one that is susceptible to potential challenge, requires a citation with a reference that is about them, and is independent of them. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. (You should never place unsourced information in an article in the first place though.) While there is no requirement for sources to be in English, this is the English Wikipedia and most people will not be able to judge non-English sources, particularly if they are recordings rather than text.
If I can be of help please feel free to contact me on my talk page or {{ping}} me by placing {{ping|Jbhunley}}
