content about CQU

[edit]

You may have noticed people removing content that you have added about CQU from a number of articles. The place to provide accurate factual information (as opposed to advertising) about the university as a whole is in the Central Queensland University article. It's OK to provide information about a local campus in the article for that town (similar to the information about each campus as provided in the CQU article, e.g. Central Queensland University#Bundaberg campus) but not to discuss the university as a whole. Since there will be a link to the CQU article in the town article, people can go to the CQU article if they want to know more about CQU as a whole. If you are a staff member at CQU (or otherwise closely affiliated), you should familiarise yourself with Wikipedia:Conflict of interest policy. Kerry (talk) 22:52, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
