Please go back and add a source to your edit in 2020 in South Korean music. There have been plenty warnings about this on your talk page, and your editing history shows that you do know how to use sources. There is no excuse for you not to be including sources with all of your edits. If you continue to add unsourced content to articles, the issue may be taken to an administrator noticeboard. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Please read WP:OVERCITE. Because I had seen more than 20 news about Brave Girls will go to participate the RM filming on next Monday, so I add those news to the Wiki network, thank you. PoWaiFung (talk) 03:08, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@PoWaiFung: Hi, I know your edits is good faith however please read WP:OVERCITE. Paper9oll (📣📝) 03:21, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I want to ask a question to you, How many news I can add to Wikipedia network if there have more than 20 news? PoWaiFung (talk) 03:27, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@PoWaiFung: Please stick to maximum of 3-5 references. Taking the Brave Girls guesting on Running Man as example, the more than 20 references you have included previously is all reporting the same news context hence there is no point having 24 sources stating the same thing. What you're doing is violating WP:OVERCITE guidelines. Only include additional 2-4 references if the initial reference doesn't state the point, otherwise 1 reference is enough. In addition, please read WP:NOT if you have not done so, highly recommended. Paper9oll (📣📝) 03:56, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sources (again)[edit]

I wanted to let you know that I removed one of your edits to 2021 in South Korean music. You recently added information about Oh My Girl's upcoming release in May, as shown here. However, the source you provided was the same source that was already being used to support NCT Dream's upcoming release and had absolutely nothing to do with OMG or their release. It looks like all you had done was change the title information to make it seem sourced. Sourcing seems to be a continuous problem with your edits, but some of your other edits suggest that you do understand how sourcing works. So, I am asking you again to please source your edits properly. Alex (talk) 09:16, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Overcite again[edit]

@PoWaiFung: I believe I have told you last month to not overcite but your recent edits show otherwise. Please don't do that, all the sources you added are reporting the same news which is LKS leaving the show and as mentioned previously in above March 2021 section, only include 1–5 sources. Please don't exhibit such behavior again else it would be considered disruptive editing as fellow editor have told you to not do such things but you chosen to ignore it, please respect what other editors have told you about and don't goes against it. Yesterday I had seen there have 40 news was talking about 7 South Korea women volleyball team members would participate the running man recording on 13 September and would be aired on 26 September episode 572, so I needed to copy 40 news to the wikipedia page to let the reader seen there had those news has been reported, if you have any questions please feel free to reply me, thanks. PoWaiFung (talk) 05:23, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not do that. One source is normally enough to verify a simple fact like this. Sometimes, two or three sources might be helpful, but 40 (or even 10) sources is never appropriate. Please read the section March 2021 higher up on this page, and click through to the WP:OVERCITE page which is linked there. Regards, --bonadea contributions talk 08:27, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
