The article Jerry Hoffmann has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -G.A.WILMBROKE [ USER / ALT / TALK / CONTRIBS ] 17:00, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
Your article Jerry Hoffmann
[edit]Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page Jerry Hoffmann to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. It currently has been listed at Pages Needing Translation, but if it is not translated within two weeks, the article will be listed for deletion. Thank you. -G.A.WILMBROKE [ USER / ALT / TALK / CONTRIBS ] 17:00, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
Nomination of Jerry Hoffmann for deletion
[edit]Prof Donald B: I have translated the article, and I added a few more references that I was able to find. However, I believe it is too soon in his career; I do not see evidence that he meets our notability criteria for actors, which are outlined here. I have therefore nominated the page for deletion. The discussion is here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jerry Hoffmann. I encourage you both to find and add more references to demonstrate his notability - there is no problem with German references or with offline references, but please provide full publication information for offline references, and be prepared to explain/translate key passages of non-English references - and to participate in the deletion discussion. This will usually run for 7 days, but may be extended for an additional week or cut short if opinion is unanimous.
Wenn nötig kann ich versuchen, das zu übersetzen. Frage mich nur an. Yngvadottir (talk) 18:28, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
