Incomplete essays

Hello, i've moved your essays from wikipedia space to User:Prom3th3an/WITCHHUNT and User:Prom3th3an/HEADSMUSTROLL respectively, as one is currently without any content and the other also not yet ready for project space. --Tikiwont (talk) 12:39, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

I have proposed an indefinite block of you at ANI

You should probably consider dropping whatever your issue is with Raul. Really. He's not worth your time or being blocked over, and you should know by now if you play that game you always lose. -- Logical Premise Ergo? 19:01, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Ok about me. I am 15 year old guy almost 16 in 10th grade. I live in the U.S. around chicago. I am taking some classes on programming and making web pages and then I realized I could help other people by editing wikipidia. I am interested in stopping vandilism and edditing things I have knowledge of or a interest in. I play American football and lacrosse. I also im in my schools radio station. I need help getting started and getting my foot in the door here at wikipidia. Hope we can work together. Soxrock524

Yes I would. Soxrock524

Just me, being a bit of a prick...

OK. So this is way geeky of me, but your sig says "Ψrom3th3ăn". The thing is, the greek letter Ψ is pronounced "ps", like the last sound in the word "oops". So your sig contains the unreadable sound combination "Psr". The greek letter that makes a "p" sound is "Π". Ok. You can safely delete this as the rantings of a loser nerd. Later. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 15:58, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Closed mediation

Re this. Perhaps you could offer a summary of it on its talk page and link it to arbcom? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 20:04, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

I'd Rathor not to be honest, ArbCom already know how I feel about the whole thing and any further comment would likely cause wikidrama for you and a block for me ;)   «l| Ψrom3th3ăn ™|l»  (talk) 05:10, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Mentorship

While I don't think I have time or will to be a dedicated mentor, I'll be more than happy to offer you advice on various wiki-issues. I think you were a decent mediator, and you show promise to be an even better and more constructive editor than you are now. We all make mistakes - think what yours were, admit to them, apologize were due, and move on. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 06:49, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Rollback of Internode Systems

Please note that I initially placed those FACT templates due to the many unreferenced claims that were made on the article as per Challenging claims. Since you have rolled it back, I have replaced only the ones that definitely need a reference to be valid. This article also uses the companies website as a reference to these some of these claims which is against Wikipedia policy When you can use self-references. Which is why it needs more 3rd party references that are not forums or something similar. -- ErnestVoice (User) (Talk) 14:14, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Yes I agree, however im of the opinion that you should only remove first part souces when you have something to replace them with. EG: If you have questions about tax, the best person to ask s an accountant (3rd), then the tax man (1st). However it is better to have the information from the Texman than no information at all.   «l| Ψrom3th3ăn ™|l»  (talk) 23:36, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
That opinion, unfortunately, collides head-on with our policies and guidelines - WP:V as Ernest has pointed out, and also the WP:RS guideline. I noted one source given was the Whirlpool forum/blog, which also fails the sourcing guidelines.
I've looked at the edits in question and agree with Ernest on most (but not all) of the areas needing a source - at least one of the "firsts" claims is made by at least one other ISP in Australia, for example. It is indeed difficult, as between "commercial in-confidence", marketing priorities and the general lack of reliable sources which cover internet and telecommunications (most newspapers simply print what they're told to when it comes to IT - as a one-time ISP employee one of my jobs was to help prepare the "interviews" of senior staff and directors which got faxed to the major dailies) articles on service providers and particularly the history can be quite difficult. An area of fairly major issues in reliability is customer numbers, which are usually self-reported and often treated as a promotional or capital-raising device, so are often outrageously overestimated, or correct but taking into account all types of customer regardless of what kind of service they receive. A common trick, for example, is to count the same customer receiving two different services as two different customers. Orderinchaos 00:12, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, If thats policy. I suppose I should be more careful talking my mind, someone might try to ban me for being wrong   «l| Ψrom3th3ăn ™|l»  (talk) 03:59, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
