Links to ar:
[edit]Hi, I've noticed you've been adding ar: language links to article pages. Please add these to the respective page on Wikidata instead, which you can reach by clicking on "Edit links" at the end of the language links in the menu of the appropriate article. Thank you. - Once again, please add language links to Wikidata. See Help:Interlanguage links#Wikidata for help. For example, to add a link to Notes on Nursing, find the Wikidata page at Special:ItemByTitle/enwiki/Notes%20on%20Nursing. Mindmatrix 15:26, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
I tried to work as you suggested. but every time I add and Arabic link in wikidata and click save I note that doesn't affect in the article? is it normal? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.218.126.90 (talk) 15:35, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
- That's happened to me a few times too. It appears there may be cached versions of the article, or perhaps the Wikidata links are not always imported immediately (though they should be). Every time it's happened to me, by the next day it has resolved itself. Do you still see the problem with the articles for which you tried this? Mindmatrix 03:13, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
Yes, I still face same problem. also I note that in some article there is not an "Edit Links" link like in articles: Perioperative and Perineural invasion --QCRI (talk) 10:34, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
- For articles with no "Edit links", the associated Wikidata page has not been created yet. You can either create it yourself, or add the ar: link to the article here on English Wikipedia. Adding the link is easier, and the links will eventually be transferred to Wikidata by a bot. Mindmatrix 14:11, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
- Can you give me an example article causing you the link problem? Mindmatrix 14:11, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
