User talk:QueCreativa
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Suncoast Chapter, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.suncoastchapter.org/about/default.aspx. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:21, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Basic chapter information was obtained from the chapter's website. In the process of documenting with additional links and references. QueCreativa (talk) 14:51, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Images
[edit]As you've probably noticed, some pictures you've posted are experiencing copyright violation issues. If you didn't take the picture, you don't own the copyright and either need documented (and Wikipedially presentable) permission or a stated justification for its use. Image use can get kind of complicated (it's even a headache for me sometimes), but you may want to investigate more: Wikipedia:Non-free content and Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. ¡Buena suerte! --Eustress (talk) 22:15, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
- Done! I got it all checked out, and got the permission straightened out! QueCreativa (talk) 05:02, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

License tagging for File:CB digital.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:CB digital.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:05, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Victor Montilla CCI EVP Portrait.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Victor Montilla CCI EVP Portrait.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. We hope (talk) 21:46, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Caribbean_Business_3-17-2011.png)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Caribbean_Business_3-17-2011.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 22:54, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
File:CB_digital.jpg
[edit]I have tagged File:CB_digital.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. Otherwise, it will be deleted in seven days. Melesse (talk) 22:54, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:Caribbean Business December 2 2010.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Caribbean Business December 2 2010.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 06:31, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Copyright problem: Víctor J. Montilla
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Víctor J. Montilla, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to contain material copied from http://www.victormontilla.com/bio.html and possibly other sites; see talk, and therefore to constitute a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policies. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author to release the text under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Víctor J. Montilla and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". Make sure you quote the exact page name, Víctor J. Montilla, in your email. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License and GNU Free Documentation License, and note that you have done so on Talk:Víctor J. Montilla. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted "under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), version 3.0", or that the material is released into the public domain, or if you have strong reason to believe it is, leave a note at Talk:Víctor J. Montilla with a link to where we can find that note or your explanation of why you believe the content is free for reuse.
It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Víctor J. Montilla saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved.
Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:26, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
- Please do not paste OTRS templates yourself. The OTRS template you placed on the talk page is unrelated to this article. This is one reason why OTRS templates are only to be placed by OTRS volunteers. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:26, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
Copyright problem
[edit]In July 2008, you added an OTRS template to Talk:Víctor J. Montilla suggesting that permission to use the content had been logged with the OTRS system. However, you are not an OTRS agent, and the template you placed was unrelated to this article. Indeed, it was a German release from a stamp company. I did a full system search for permissions related to this article and found nothing, although some images have properly placed permission tags. If you are actually able to document permission for this content, please follow the processes at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Please do not place permission tags yourself, but allow an authorized OTRS agent to place them. In the meantime, the article has been truncated to remove all copied content. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:15, 30 October 2014 (UTC) What sources are you looking for? Proposed deletion of Musicomedia
[edit]The article Musicomedia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No sources, only a sentence long.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 04:38, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
