Images you have uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading all your images, but some of them are not legal use. Two of them are fair use, I have tagged them for you. Two of them are copyright violations, and they are being processed and will likely be deleted soon. The other two (Image:QMargretheDk.jpg and Image:Casa cotroceni b.jpg) don't have sources. First, I want you to add the source to their Image Description Page. Then, I want you to add a tag (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc). If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you.

I would recommend checking out articles like Public domain, WP:PD, WP:ICT, WP:FU, and stuff like that to gain knowledge about how to do this yourself. Thanks! --Matjlav 18:12, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I see you don't want to be cooperative. Well, those two images are going on Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images. Please make sure to do things the right way from now on and quit being a nuisance. --Matjlav 20:17, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Names for images

[edit]

Hello Radustanciu. I noticed you've uploaded Image:Untitled5.jpg and I thought I should warn you about your mistake. You shouldn't upload images with such names, because they're hard to track and we can't really know what is it about without actually looking at it. We suggest you rename your image with an intuitive name that describes the image itself. Thanks, and good editing! ~ VeledanTalk + new 18:02, 10 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
p.s. also, please do add source and copyright information as requested above... We may well not be able to keep your images if you don't. Many thanks ~ VeledanTalk + new 18:05, 10 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Take_1.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 23:49, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Printul si principesa Barbu Stirbey.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Printul si principesa Barbu Stirbey.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:08, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Printul_Barbu_Stirbey.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

File source problem with File:Sfantul Sava.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Sfantul Sava.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:52, 28 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:52, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Ducele de Halland.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
