Is it okay to be my mentor for helping? --Katarighe (talk) 16:17, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Response to Katarighe's message timestamped at 16:17, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[edit]

Katarighe,

I take it from your message you're actually asking if 'you' can be 'my' mentor for helping and not the other way around?!

If that's the case then yes of course!

Many thanks,

Orphaned non-free image File:Valuation Office Agency Logo.png[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Valuation Office Agency Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.   JaJaWa |talk  07:46, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Response to JaJaWa's message timestamped at 07:46, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[edit]

Dear JaJaWa,

Thank you for your message.

The image was previously being used on an Article, until indeed yourself replaced it with an SVG image (as per the SVG Template message).

I would appreciate it if, in the future, you could simply inform one that the image has been replaced with an SVG, as when I read your message it appeared to indicate that I had made a mistake, which fortunately wasn't the case - next time, just a simple message to say an SVG has replaced it would do & that the image will be deleted accordingly.

Thank you for improving the quality of the article.

Yours sincerely,

Richardpeterlyons148 (talk) 10:58, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nonbreaking spaces[edit]

Please note that nonbreaking spaces (coded as  ) are standard between a number and an abbreviated unit, as per MOS:UNITS (see against "Format" in the table). One of the many peculiarities of Wikipedia for new editors to learn! Peter coxhead (talk) 10:25, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Peter coxhead,

Thank you for your message & the advice associated with it.

I had a small inkling this might of been present for a purpose...it would appear I was right.

Thanks for the heads-up and I'll try not to cause too much more to catch fire!

If you do happen to spot anything else please don't hesitate to let me know.

Best regards,
