Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit]Hello, I'm Discospinster. I noticed that in this edit to Bat as food, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 22:59, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
- I am trying to undo the bias reporting. It should be fair. Why is the section under the US limited to one sentence while Asia is scrutinized? The bias against China contributes to Asian hate. Maybe you do not care because Asian hate is so ingrained in you. Rcjteng (talk) 23:06, 26 March 2022 (UTC)

[edit] Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to The Night Agent, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Per MOS:TVCAST, The cast listing should be ordered according to the original broadcast credits, with new cast members being added to the end of the list.
Hong Chau has been credited last on the end credits since episode 1. — YoungForever(talk) 21:26, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- If that is how you want to list it, then you must state "in order of appearance." Otherwise you could be providing misleading and biased information on wikipedia. Hong Chau is a major cast member, she has been in every episode. I came here to read about the show and I was confused why she is considered a minor player on this wikipedia page. Rcjteng (talk) 23:41, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- Correction: my mistake. Forget what I said about "order of appearance." However, there is no rule stating that the cast listing should be ordered according to the original broadcast credits on wikipedia. In many cases, the cast listing is based on amount of screen time and importance of character. But if you insist on keeping it the way it is, then I guess it's a subjective decision on your part as well as Wikipedia's. Very disappointing. Rcjteng (talk) 23:48, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- I don't understand why Hong Chau is listed as a new cast member. I have to see episode one again. On Rotten Tomatoes, Hong Chau is listed third on their list of characters. Anyway, if you insist that the cast listing should be ordered according to the original broadcast credits, then so be it. But it's still misleading. Rcjteng (talk) 00:03, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Night Agent. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Again, per MOS:TVCAST, we go by according to credits, not your personal preference. As said repeatedly, Hong Chau has been credited last among the starring cast since episode 1. — YoungForever(talk) 00:04, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
- Please do not make false claims about unconstructive edits and vandalism. That is not a fair assessment. You simply do not want anyone to change your edits. You listed the cast listing according to the original broadcast credits, but that is not an absolute requirement. The cast listing CAN CHANGE to reflect importance of character and screen time, which is what Rotten Tomatoes did. Insisting your way is the right way reveals bias on your part and refusal to cooperate with other members of the wikipedia community. Rcjteng (talk) 00:16, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at The Night Agent, you may be blocked from editing. What part of MOS:TVCAST you do not seemed understand? We go by according to credits on the episodes themselves, not Rotten Tomatoes or elsewhere. On the end credits of episode 1, Hong Chau is credited last among the starring cast which you choose to ignore. MOS:TVCAST also states Please keep in mind that though "main" cast members are determined by the series producers (not by popularity, screen time, or episode count) and generally have a set order in the credits

- I just read MOS:TVCAST. YOU ARE CORRECT. Does everyone follow this guideline? I will take a look at other television series on wikipedia. Rcjteng (talk) 00:33, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
- WP:TV follows the guideline and it is standard practice among TV series articles. — YoungForever(talk) 00:42, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
