Welcome![edit]

Hello, Reflections.at, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page J. G. Farrell did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome!  Joyous! Noise! 20:32, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To verify what you add, please use a citation[edit]

Hi, Reflections.at. Thanks for your contribution to Charlotte Brontë. Unfortunately, you didn't add a citation to a reliable source, so it has been removed from the article for now. But don't worry—your edit is still preserved in the history (see that "History" tab at the top?) and you can put it back in again, as long as you include a citation to a source at the same time. If you have any questions, feel free to {{Reply}} below; you can also ask questions at the WP:Tea house or at the Wikipedia:Help desk. Welcome to Wikipedia! Plot additions[edit]

I have no idea where you are getting these paragraphs from but please stop adding seemingly random content to articles. There is no character called Marina in Shakespeare's The Tempest and Jane Eyre did not meet Edward Rochester at Lowood Hall. Your edits are becoming disruptive and can lead to editing sanctions being applied to you. Nthep (talk) 21:18, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Admin report[edit]

Hi Reflections.at, If you would like to make constructive edits to Wikipedia, that would of course be welcome, but if you have come on here primarily to add comedic entries to established articles, you will quickly be blocked by the administrators. I can see that your edits have no malice but you are inadvertently wasting the time of other editors who are having to revert your contributions. I've asked admin to take a look at your account so you will probably get a warning from them too. Regards, Rodney Baggins (talk) 09:43, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You're late. 🙂 ~ ToBeFree (talk) 09:45, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your username[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Reflections.at", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please choose a username that complies with our username policy and provide it in any unblock requests. As you are blocked, you may not create a new account; doing so would be block evasion / sockpuppetry. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 09:44, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
