Notability of Justin Ryan DiCosola[edit]

A tag has been placed on Justin Ryan DiCosola requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Blanchardb-MeMyEarsMyMouth-timed 02:11, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively here, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did with this edit to User:Dlohcierekim. You may wish to read the introduction to editing for more information about Wikipedia. Thank you. Just James T/C 14:30, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your note. Well as you work for their family, you have a pretty clear conflict of interest. You will need to provide reliable sources for information added to Wikipedia. You must keep in mind that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia]]. Information about living people that is not supported by reliable sources may be removed at anytime. (We've had real problems related to article about living people.) Personal information from acquaintance is not a "reliable source". Also, as there is no article for this person, it would be better to wait until notability is established before adding links. Please see the relevant policies-- WP:BLP, WP:BIO, WP:N, WP:RS and WP:V. My suggestion would be to work on [article at Hampedia]. You can create an article here if you find significant coverage in third party sources to meet our notability requirements, though I must say my own search did not turn up such coverage. I see no evidence of any connection between this person and the Borghese family. I can not overemphasize the importance reliable sources in adding information to Wikipedia..

It would be helpful if you were to provide a fresh heading when starting a new thread on a talk page and signing you posts by placing four ~'s at the end. Also, it would be desirable to have a greater degree of decorum in addressing a fellow Wikipedian. We try to promote a collegial atmosphere. Please considerable the usage of "please" and "thank you" when making a request/demand of another user. Thank you. Dlohcierekim (talk) 18:32, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have recreated this. As it sits, it does not assert significane of the subject or meet notability requirements. Please provide reliable sources for this. Thanks. Dlohcierekim (talk) 21:55, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

the above admin asked me for my opinion, and I agree with him, and deleted the article. Please do not recreate without good references, or you will be blocked. DGG (talk) 23:21, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
