Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Rose&Sophie", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it has the appearance of being shared by two people. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Sileather (material)

[edit]

Hello Rose&Sophie,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sileather (material) for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Rose&Sophie, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Hi @Jimfbleak!
Thanks for your advices. I appreciated your guidance and would be grateful if you could proofread my new draft article in userspace, as you mentioned you could do. Your feedback and suggestions for improvement would be immensely helpful.

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia because your username, Rose&Sophie, does not comply with Wikipedia's username policy. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy, which is summarized below.
Under Wikipedia's username policy, a username should represent an individual person. It should not: represent a group or organization; be promotional; be misleading (such as indicating possession of special user rights, being a "bot" account - unless approved, or implying that the account has any administrative or "moderator" user rights, or any kind of "power" or "authority" over other users); nor be offensive or otherwise disruptive. However, a username that contains the name of an organization and also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87" is allowed, but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company". Among others, the guidance on conflict of interest and the policy on paid-contribution disclosure are relevant.
Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If your username is not in violation of Wikipedia's username policy, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page here: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Thank you. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:39, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi Jimfbleak! Thanks for all your recommendations. I already changed the Username and it get approved. Now I use two internet operators according to when one have better signal than the other one. May be it's the reason why it seems that we are both to use this account.

I really enjoy editing wikipedia. That's why I'm trying to bring my low contribution.
PLease I want to proofread the content of the page you deleted. I want to improve it and submit to your proofreading so I can post it in the mainspace.
If you need further details, please let me know!
Thanks! RoseSophie555 (talk) 09:55, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

I will remove the block. 331dot (talk) 13:01, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The only thing you did to your username was remove the ampersand and add "555". This doesn't answer the question as to if two people("Rose" and "Sophie") have access to this account. 331dot (talk) 11:03, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is only one person who have access to this account. Please if you need something to prove it, please let me know!RoseSophie555 (talk) 12:33, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Sileather, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:RoseSophie555, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=RoseSophie555|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}.
