March 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Sprut-sd has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): [a-z][0-9]+\.photobucket\.com/albums/.*\.(?:jpg|jpeg|gif|png|svg) (links: http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e157/tranceraveprince01/sprutdpolice.jpg). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 02:59, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Sprut-sd do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Re: T-90[edit]

Hi there. Just letting you know that I reverted your edits because the sources cited on the page do not confirm the number given. Also all information I've been able to find state that a Russian tank battalion only has 31 tanks. If you have reputable, reliable sources saying otherwise, please provide them with the update, otherwise the numbers can't be trusted. Thanks. - Jonathon A H (talk) 21:26, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, if you have a reliable resource for your claim of 1200+ T-90s in Russian service, please provide it. Thanks - Jonathon A H (talk) 19:25, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello; I appreciate your contributions in the 2T Stalker article. I think it would be better if we form a to-do list so that all our efforts are in the same direction. Also, some notes on your edits there; the image's source is not identified, and there for it is subject to deletion at any time, and the operators section you started does not include any citation. That can badly affect the quality of the article. I find my self having to revert your edits for now. ( ΡHARAOH  The Muslim  12:44, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Sprut-SD.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sprut-SD.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:18, 14 December 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:18, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article BMP-3, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. File copyright problem with File:T-90c moscow.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:T-90c moscow.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Peripitus (Talk) 22:25, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to T-90. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Hohum (talk) 22:28, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:T-90 line.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:T-90 line.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 09:56, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on T-90. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Hohum (talk) 21:11, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to T-90. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Hohum (talk) 21:25, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Russian Navy[edit]

Look mate, please provide sources before editing the Russian Navy ships artical. Currently the List only includes ACTIVE ships, not reserve ships, not ships under construction ONLY active ships. Like every other navy ships artical, even for the US Navy, Royal navy or French Navy, the lists only include ACTIVE ships.

look at this source, it is the source that the list of Russian navy vessels is based on http://www.warfare.ru/?lang=&linkid=1720&catid=243&type=ssbn and it is current to january 2010 figures!!!!

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:37, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
