Celia Wade-Brown

[edit]

Hello Ryan76nz, thanks for creating content. The article on Celia Wade-Brown is a very long way off from meeting notability requirements in its current form and if that's not addressed very soon, I would expect it to be deleted. My suggestion is that you move this article into your userspace and work on it there, plus in parallel familiarise yourself with notability requirements. If you don't know what that means, but are happy to follow my suggestion, then leave a message here (I shall monitor your talk page) and I will move the article for you. If you create the content, I can help you with making sure that it meets WP's requirements. Schwede66 01:16, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Celia Wade-Brown has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable councillor

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mattlore (talk) 05:03, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Ryan76nz/Ryan Kennedy (author), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
