Welcome!
[edit]Hello, SB2BC, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:
- Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with what Wikipedia is and is not. Wikipedia is not just another news, forum, blog/webhost, promotional/advertising/directory, or social networking site. It is a place for serious, collaborative, scholarly assembly of knowledge about notable subjects into a high-quality encyclopedia, with verifiable references to independent, reliable sources. Many people come here with other expectations and have a difficult time as a result.
- Introduction and Getting started
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- Simplified Manual of Style
Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by adding a space and four tildes to the end of the last line of your post, like this:
This is the last line of the post. ~~~~
The tildes will be automatically converted to a signature that contains your linked username and a timestamp to help keep conversations organized. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask at the Teahouse, ask me on my talk page, or click here to ask for help here on your talk page and a volunteer will visit you here shortly. Again, welcome! —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 07:59, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
Algae
[edit]Ref #4 goes to content not relevant to algae. Ref #5 does not work. If you have a COI - for example work in the ultrasound/algae industry, need to state that on your User page. Reviewing of a submitted draft can be days to weeks, but also as long as months.
Thanks for the help
Your submission at Articles for creation: Ultrasonic algae control (July 12)
[edit]- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Ultrasonic algae control and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you now believe the draft cannot meet Wikipedia's standards or do not wish to progress it further, you may request deletion. Please go to Draft:Ultrasonic algae control, click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window, add "{{Db-g7}}" at the top of the draft text and click the blue "publish changes" button to save this edit.
- If you do not make any further changes to your draft, in 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
Hello, SB2BC!

Unless you address your COI or PAID situation on your User page it is likely that this draft will not only be Declined again, but Rejected, Deleted, and "salted," the last meaning that only with an approval of an Administrator will it be possible for this topic to be reconsidered for an article. Paid editing
[edit] As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:SB2BC, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=SB2BC|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 17:00, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
