Its great the you love cats and want to help, however, please check before you make another list. All the information on that list is already included in Felidae, so we don't need to duplicated it, and some of it was incorrect, like hybrids, who are never found in the wild and therefore are not wild cats. Second, you have confused cat types with cat breeds in some instances. Also, not everything everyone lists as a breed really is one. Our list of cat breeds is complete and correct at the moment. Also, please take the time to read the things on your welcome message so you can understand the way we create articles here. We don't sign them for instance. Why don't you take some time to familiarise yourself with how things work around here and that will make your editing experience much more enjoyable. pschemp | talk 15:15, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Sierra 1.1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sierra 1.1.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:06, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

By the way[edit]

Just so you know - you should never sign your name after making an edit to an article. This is because any given article can have dozens, or even hundreds, of individual editors, and if everyone signed, then the article would quickly become an illegible mess of signatures. Information as to who made which edit is automatically tracked, and is available in the article history.

Conversely, you should always sign the messages you leave on article discussion pages or on user talk pages.

No harm done - this is just so you know. DS 17:50, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Houston, we have a problem[edit]

Wikipedia is not a free web host. Much of what you've uploaded or added seems to be your own personal content, and some at least violates our policies on copyright (derivitive works of the type you uploaded are valid only in certain contexts). I'm tidying up the mess (read: deleting most of it), but please take the time to find out a bit more about the project before you upload any more images, particularly. Thanks, Guy (Help!) 15:08, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm always happy to take time to answer any questions, explain our Byzantine rule-set, etc, so if you want anything my talk page is just /* points to signature */ there. - brenneman 23:27, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
