Please take special note of the 'edit summary' guidelines. Providing a short sentence explaining the edit you've performed helps with identifying vandalism, and lets other editors know what you have done. It's also preferred that you make changes all in one go, if possible, rather than multiple edits. If you'd like to see how the page will look after your edit, you can use the 'show preview' button, or try things out in the sandbox. We discourage removing content from pages, even if you intend to replace it later -- someone may see the page while it is incomplete. But all this being said, I want to welcome you to editing Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions! Please do leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions. [edit]Hello Summeralanyaobrien. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Summeralanyaobrien. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Summeralanyaobrien|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Sherlotte (talk) 10:28, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hello Sherlotte,
i am not being compensated for any of my edits, i just know quite a lot of information on the place i was editing, and i wanted to put the correct information out there. I hope this helps so sorry for any inconvenience caused.
kind regards Summer --Summeralanyaobrien (talk) 11:16, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Summer,
- Thank you for your response. Are you affiliated with the Eden Camp Museum in some way? I guess you have an interest in it, as your edits seem to be mostly concerning it. If it's just an enthusiasm, please be assured, that is perfectly fine. :) Please feel free to start editing again.
- Would you like any help getting started with editing Wikipedia? You can sign your posts using 4 tildes (~~~~).

Hi Sherlotte,
i live near by the museum itself, I've been visiting there since i was a little girl, often had school visits there and it is just an interesting place i'm really enthusiastic about its history; thank you for understanding :) i'm attempting to figure things out as i go, i really appreciate your help with it all!
kind regards Summer :)--Sao97 (talk) 13:04, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Summer,
- That's awesome! I'm sorry for assuming you had a conflict of interest — coincidentally, the museum started its own account at a very similar time to you, and I thought the two accounts might be linked.
- I'm really glad that you want to share your enthusiasm and knowledge for the museum. There are tons of FAQs and tutorials in the link box I posted at the top of your talk page, so please do take a look! Wikipedia has a few principles and guidelines that it is good to bear in mind, in order to make the encyclopedia as good as it can be (and avoid other editors reverting your edits). Remember, you can ask for help in the Teahouse or on my talk page any time. I really hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia, and continue to do so.

Speedy deletion nomination of Stanley James Johnson
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Stanley James Johnson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 10MB (talk) 13:42, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
