Discretionary sanctions notification
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the Troubles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

- Also the Real Irish Republican Army article, as well as other Troubles related articles, is under a 1-revert-restriction, meaning no more than 1 revert in a 24 hour period. FDW777 (talk) 17:32, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
June 2020
[edit]Hello, I'm FDW777. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Official Irish Republican Army, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
Please stop adding completely unreferenced "opponents" to infoboxes. That organisations were rivals which engaged in occasional feuding does not make them opponents in the same way as, for example, the British Army was. FDW777 (talk) 16:23, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
July 2020
[edit]Hi Saoreire72! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Real Irish Republican Army that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. FDW777 (talk) 17:36, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
The most relevant part of the manual of style to your infobox-fixated editing can be found at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Infoboxes, the purpose of an infobox: to summarize (and not supplant) key facts that appear in the article
. If you keep ignoring this and adding information not present in the article, your edits will continue to be reverted. FDW777 (talk) 12:45, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you.
Is there any part of the above you don't understand? Do not add ideologies to infoboxes unless they are mentioned, and ideally referenced, in the article. FDW777 (talk) 17:33, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
September 2020
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at 32 County Sovereignty Movement, you may be blocked from editing.
This in addition to the fact your additions to multiple articles are also in violation of MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE. Please stop adding unreferenced ideologies to infoboxes, especially when they are not discussed in the rest of the article. Thank you. FDW777 (talk) 15:21, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
- Also you have made zero talk page posts and zero user talk page posts. Ignoring warnings and failing to communicate are unlikely to end in a positive way for you. FDW777 (talk) 16:36, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
Saor Uladh (2008) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Saor Uladh (2008), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Further discretionary sanctions notification
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in discussions about infoboxes and to edits adding, deleting, collapsing, or removing verifiable information from infoboxes. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
