Editing talk pages[edit]

I reverted one of your changes at Talk:Huntington's disease. Please do not edit other users' comments, as per WP:TALKO (Editing others' comments). Ttwaring (talk) 17:30, 2 January 2018 (UTC).[reply]

I guessed you would do that better than I; no sweat. Thanks.SchaPhD (talk) 02:58, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for raising the issue of copyright at talk:Huntington's disease. Wikipedia takes copyright violation very seriously. Please help us in identifying the problem by identifying the "attachments" to which you refer, either here on your talkpage, at the article talkpage, or for major violations, directly on the article. Please don't be reluctant to remove clear infringements, but please state why you are doing it in your edit summary so that other editor's don't confuse your action with vandalism, a perennial problem here. In general, we try to keep the place of action as close as possible to the reason for that action LeadSongDog come howl! 18:00, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with your editing or Wikipedia behavior

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 18:46, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I have a genetic disease that has neuro cognitive symptoms. I fall many times, and it is harder to learn new ways. I am concerned about copyright violation in articles. User LeadSongDog mentored me but conceded removal copyrighted material looks like vandalism . SchaPhD (talk) 20:21, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You're blocked as a sockpuppet of MWS (talk · contribs) as explained at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MWS/Archive. In your next unblock request, you should address this block reason. PhilKnight (talk) 21:44, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Regarding sockpuppet, MWS was IP-blocked and name-blocked. SchaPhD was created on the same IP.Editing (with care) contined until Checkuser block. Write procedures with the regular user in mind.

Decline reason:

Well, that was snippy. You are not going to get anywhere trying to excuse your behavior. If I read this right, you are evading a block. You need to address whatever issues led to that block as well. If you did that above, it fell short. You need to list all accounts you edit under or have created. You must aver to never again use multi accounts to violate Wikipedia policy. The boilerplate that follows just says it all a different way. Oh, BTW, regular users don't violate Wikipedia policies to the extent they get blocked. I fear more self examination/awareness may be in order. Blaming the community for your inability to comply with our policies and guidelines is not going to help you. Please reread the guide to appealing blocks. Thanks I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. Request reason:

Shame on you vorselv community. I pledge to never again use multi accounts to violate Wikipedia policy. I reserve the right to be wrong, with Huntington's Disease as my excuse. You pledge to have American English and British English, each with a board. You pledge A.D.A. conformity, customer harassment vorbidden.

Decline reason:

Still doesn't cut it, I'm afraid. Unblock appeals are not the place to make demands. You need to list the accounts you have used, address the issues that led to the block of your original account, and provide some indication of how you intend to edit moving forwards. Otherwise, you're likely to lose the ability to edit this page as well. Yunshui  09:16, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I've gone ahead and revoked talk page access here. You need to make your unblock request on your original account. I see you were so abusive over there that you've lost the ability to edit your talk page, too, and similarly have been banned from WP:UTRS until the end of January. Regardless, UTRS, once your ban expires, is your only path forward here. And when you are once again able to make an unblock request, I very strongly suggest you take a radically different approach. --Yamla (talk) 13:01, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
