My RfA

I've left a comment regarding your oppose there. Thank you for taking the time to review my contributions. Best regards, Rudget. 10:24, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AFD

I saw a consensus to keep the article, did you not? Regards, Keilanatalk(recall) 01:18, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your support in my RfA. It was definitely a dramatic debate, that landed on WP:100! I paid close attention to everything that was said, and, where possible, I will try to incorporate the (constructive) criticism towards being a better administrator. I'm taking things slowly for now, partially because of the holidays and all the off-wiki distractions. :) I'm also working my way through the Wikipedia:New admin school and double-checking the relevant policies, and will gradually phase into the use of the new tools. My main goals are to help out with various backlogs, but I also fully intend to keep on writing articles, as there are several more that I definitely want to get to WP:FA status! Thanks again, and have a great new year, --Elonka 05:13, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article was NOT categorised- stub, cleanup and other meta-categories do not count as categorisation. J Milburn (talk) 21:23, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hm. I figured food and drink stub qualified. Okay, thanks. I'll remember that. I (talk) 21:24, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Heh, that was raising my blood pressure. It occured to me a second too late that I don't think I've ever tried to wikilink an image in that way before. :) Trusilver (talk) 02:07, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well now you know. I was watching your fight with the image and figured I would help :) I (talk) 03:18, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New name?

Woah, when did you change your name again?--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions) 23:58, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Last night, much thanks to WjB. And it wont happen again, so no worries ;) I (talk) 00:09, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So where did you get this name from?--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions) 00:26, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I just think it sounds like a cool name. seresin wasn't he just...? 00:53, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I see. So when/what do you plan to do for your RFA? I'm not trying to pressure you but, since you're probably not intending to do it soon, it would be nice to have a rough idea on when you're going to do it.--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions) 02:10, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rudget!

Dear Serisin, my sincere thanks for your participation in my second request for adminship, which ended with 113 supports, 11 opposes, and 4 neutral. I would especially like to thank my admin coach and nominator, Rlevse and Ryan Postlethwaite who in addition to Ioeth all inspired me to run for a second candidacy. I would also like to make a special mention to Phoenix-wiki, Dihyrdogen Monoxide and OhanaUnited who all offered to do co-nominations, but I unfortunately had to decline. I had all these funny ideas that it would fail again, and I was prepared for the worst, but at least it showed that the community really does have something other places don't. Who would have though Gmail would have been so effective? 32 emails in one week! (Even if it does classify some as junk :P) I'm glad that I've been appointed after a nail biting and some might call, decision changing RFA, but if you ever need anything, just get in touch. The very best of luck for 2008 and beyond, Rudget. 16:57, 15 January 2008 (UTC) [reply]

Centralized TV Episode Discussion

Over the past months, TV episodes have been reverted by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. --Maniwar (talk) 23:35, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neologisms

I admit that I've been away for a long time, but neologisms and dicdefs used to be speedy deleted or transwikied. When did that change? --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:41, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know when, but they are explicitly excluded from the CSD criteria here. seresin wasn't he just...? 07:50, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name

Finally settled down, eh? btw. MSN = Marshal of Grey@hotmail with underscores, or what's the deal? Mine is on my talk if it's easier that way... Dihydrogen Monoxide 12:45, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yep. Figured I needed to be happy with my name, and now I am. As for the MSN, I'm not sure if the underscores are neccesary, or spaces even, but I registered it with spaces/underscores. seresin wasn't he just...? 23:35, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, added you (with underscores). Dihydrogen Monoxide (party) 01:40, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

userpage

Hi. I found your newest username. I've just tweaked some details about the implementation of your userpage. There were issues with html-syntax and html/css color names. It could mebbe use some more work, but this is a step in the right direction. Cheers, Jack Merridew 08:33, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, but I'm confused as to what it did, except remove the horizontal bar from under the name. seresin || wasn't he just...? 20:29, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand what underline you mean; I've looked at the old version and don't see an underline. The change you're seeing may be something to do with whatever browser you're using or the settings in it. Also, when I look at it with the older version of IE (v6), the colors are wrong, i.e. some green, which doesn't seem like what you meant. I'll tweak things some more, if you like. Adding lines can be done several ways. FYI, the html u-element is deprecated — not that many browsers will cease supporting it anytime soon. You should also use a more robust list of typefaces in font-family as many machines will not have your first choice installed. Cheers, Jack Merridew 07:44, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Now I see; and I've tweaked it a bit. --Jack Merridew 07:51, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Following-up to explain the original edits. The thing I first noticed was 275px being used in an html-width attribute; these are in pixels by default and 'px' is not valid, however I expect most browsers will ignore it and accept the 275. I also noticed the color 'grey' which should be 'Gray' - see: valid css colors. While in there, I fiddled with a few other things like adding single quotes around typeface names comprised of two words, full quotes around an html-align attribute and a html-width attribute, etc. The initial change re the bottom-border was just the addition of 'px' to the unit 1; I didn't notice that border-style and border-color had been omitted. The underline that went away for a day or so is due to browsers interpreting different illegal code in different ways. The last change I made added the omitted attributes and should work fine for every user agent and platform. If you'd like me to do a more serious rework of the page, just say so. Cheers, Jack Merridew 14:52, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Lol sure. The page pretty much comprises a hodgepodge of stolen and modified code. As the hidden comment said, I don't even pretend it is remotely valid. If you feel like it, feel free to legalize away. Thanks seresin | wasn't he just...? 22:49, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since a movie is not a person, organization, or web content, WP:CSD A7 (in its current incarnation) does not apply. Consider taking the article to WP:AFD. Best, --Shirahadasha (talk) 05:26, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
